Speedway Customer Reviews

I love speedway in this certain store is close to my home. It has gotten a new manager and I found out they got a new assistant. Tuesday the 11th what's the last straw. I will never shop there again. Ever since this new manager took over things have really changed. They are always out of stuff. She tries to say that she can't order things but other speedways have it. Tuesday the 11th I was in for lunch the hot dogs and taquitos we're so burnt to the grill. The food sales has got to be down. The manager does not wear her hair pulled up she wears an earpiece in her ear and talks on the phone while working. She wears spandex. She was training this new assistant giving him orders I know that's what she has to do but you could clearly see the food was burning to the grill and so blown up. When the older lady is not on in the morning there's hardly any food and it's not fresh. I've talked to numerous customers in and out of the Steve her name is Nicole. She tries to push all of her work off on Steve. The older lady that works in the morning she always has fresh food. The gas pumps don't work 3/4 of the time. This new manager Nicole is always outside on the phone smoking she has the earbud in her ear at all times. Now the new assistant has an earbud in his ear all the time I know that it is company policy that they cannot wear them because I used to work for speedway.

This place has been a go-to for me for years now because it's so close to my home. But recently they started changing the food, taking pickles off of sandwiches and such and I can't even get condiments there for my sandwiches anymore. Very disappointed

Thursday 11/21/2024, i was turned away by the cashier using a $100 bill for $20 in gas. I was told this was their corporate policy. I don't know what's going on, but a vast number of us who still use cash & barder may be left out!

I love to go to Speedway! I was a bit surprised when I walked in, and the store had the light aroma of sewer. The food roller area was filthy and did not appear to have been cleaned under in a very long time. To top it off, 4 staff were standing around listening to one of them air their grievances about a co-worker. I was going to mention the sewer smell to them, but they seemed to busy.

My favorite time to stop by this store is evenings on my way home from work. The one store clerk Steve is my favorite! Always friendly and willing to go over and beyond. Will make fresh food upon request, never gets stressed when there is a long line. The one lady who I've seen in the mornings remembered I was trying to access my reward points and the next time I saw her she remembered to share with me how easy it was for me to change my pin! The people working always make or break the place my opinion!
