Route 109 Petrol

Today I decided to Ride my bike and go to pick up my daughter to summer school and normally id ride through the little East neck road, instead of route 109, because the bad conditions of the road, but then I see the awesome job they did and decided to check it out, well bad idea, I'd found those emergency cones on the middle of the sidewalk and when I break to avoid collision a driver hit my rear tire of my bike and run away so I decided to write a note to those people who do those kind of things not nice but I have to admit that was an awesome job replacement de pavement on the street you can see that was almost even with the old one, but just I would like to know who was the smartest people who decided to place emergency cones on the middle of the sidewalk specially on the enter or exit ramps, don't you guy can think that there's bike riders, and pedestrian who use sidewalk to avoid traffic, also I would like to take a time to tell drivers that it's illegal to not respect pedestrian and give them the right to cross street, more worsted is to see them and instead of stop or reduce their speed is to speed up and hit and run I think that is against to the law. I'm fixing my scratch and put a bandage around my wrist and hand it could be a lot worse if my little kid would come with me thank God it wasn't , definitely who ever concerned this need to pay more attention I'd attached few pictures so you guy can see what I m talking about.
