Nittany Minit Mart Customer Reviews

I was pleasantly surprised by this place. My boyfriend and I stopped here around 2am on our way back from a road trip. We ordered a pizza and ate it in there little seating section. The lady who cooked the pizza was so sweet. She brought us out plates, garlic salt, and red pepper flakes and was just really nice to use. The guy running the cash register was also super nice and friendly. The place was clean and brightly lit. I've never been here before, so I don't know what the daytime shift is like, but the overnight staff is awesome.

3 times I have placed a phone order here. They tell you 10 -15 minutes so you wait and they don’t make it until I show up? What’s the point of offering call in orders if you’re not going to have them ready?

Employees are always kind and helpful. I don't like to cast judgement on others, but even when dealing with unsavory customers, the employees have the patience of a saint. The few negative things that could be said about this store are a result of the location and occasional riff-raff rather than any shortcoming of the employees themselves. It's not a Sheetz or a Rutters, but for simple gas station drinks and snacks, the selection is good and the prices are fair. There is a surprisingly large and convenient selection of automotive tools and basic grocery necessities that can really come in handy. The prices are a bit marked up, but the convenience is worth it if you live close by and don't feel like driving all the way to Walmart or Autozone. Overall it's just a simple gas station, but it is run well and serves it's purpose.

I’ve went there copious amounts of time. This time I decided to grab some beer as I do from time to time. As I approached the counter, some troll named Erica gave me a weird look. Whatever. She then asked for my ID. I’m over 35 years of age and look like tree bark. “Erica you don’t need my ID I’ve been here plenty of times without it” I protested. She then went on the blubber about how she needs it and blah. I said Erica. No you don’t. I’ve done this before. As she was talking all 4 of her chins echoed her animosity as they danced. She was excited to say no. She couldn’t help herself, much like she probably can’t help herself stop eating. Take your health as important as you do you job and you’ll be mother effing Ms. America in no time. Cheerio Erica. Prolly shouldn’t have said “Cheerio” ….might eat that too.
