Gas Station - Stop and Shop

I just stopped in for butter. I normally avoid this store and particularly this location…. This store had genuinely sucked The shelves were never stocked there was never enough cashiers but today I noticed something different and I was thoroughly impressed. The store seemed to have come back to life with people greeting you and foods and drinks to sample as you navigate the store. Employees busy stocking and working If it’s new management or just a strong desire to keep Stop n Shop alive, I noticed the efforts and 👍 for it because this community does indeed need this!

This is my go to gas station because the price is better and I feel safe compared to other stations, but last night I stopped by at 8:47pm and was finishing a phone or Order I was doing when I realized they shot everything off at 8:50pm so I got off my car and went to the window and the two people that were in there just tried to ignore me looking up like they didn’t know I was there, so knock the window and the girl just told me with an attitude that they were closed, I felt so frustrated that just end up driving up to the next gas station. Im a mom that had my three kids in a car and I felt like this was such a inappropriate way to handle business, My intentions are that this message get to the right hands and they do something about it.

Relatively cheap gas, decent service and well placed in New Haven.

Good prices for the location and gas quality . Not much a shop if you need a vape or road trip snacks
