I love this store! Hector & Angela are friendly, fair and work hard to keep this store spotless. Their food is delicious, especially the bacon, egg and cheese breakfast sandwich and the Philly cheese steak. It’s a one stop shop that was desperately needed in the area. It’s also nice to see two business owners who really care about their customers :)

Very clean store with friendly, helpful owners (who happen to be the original owners who have returned to run the store). Great sandwiches and, hands down, the best BEC in Putnam County. With fair prices, great selection and friendly service, it's a must stop if you are in Put Lake.

Updated review for 2023: The store changed hands and is now often manned by a skeevy conman who will overcharge you if he can. The prices also went up exactly 20% all at once, and I’m definitely never going again. It’s a shame, this used to be a good quick stop. The lady I always run into there is very nice! Whenever there's no one behind me in line, we always manage to strike up conversation. A+ customer service. I don't know her name, but when I find out I'll post it. She's so friendly

Under new ownership. New owners are the fabulous people from many years ago. Anyone who grew up in the Lake will remember them. The prices are good. The sandwiches are delicious (BEC, sooo good). Always the best prices on gas in the area. Very nice people who run a clean store. Always my go to for gas.

Love this place! Always need a good little store with a quality BEC for bfast. Nice and clean and the owners are so sweet and personable. Strange to love a gas station store so much but there are so many that just don’t measure up anymore. I got out of my way for this one
