West Corners Trailers Introduce

For New York residents, understanding local landmarks and businesses is key to navigating daily life. When searching for services like a "car wash," accurate information is essential. This article aims to clarify the nature of "West Corners Trailers" located at 305 Carl St, Endicott, NY. Despite the provided information categorizing it as a "car wash" with associated reviews, available public data and customer feedback overwhelmingly indicate that "West Corners Trailers" was historically a mobile home park, not a car wash, and furthermore, it no longer exists at that location.

The provided customer reviews paint a complex picture. One review clearly describes a negative experience with a car wash service, stating, "Did not clean my car... Got the premium wash and my car came out just as dirty... Never again!" This review, if genuine and pertaining to a car wash at this address, suggests a specific type of service. However, a much more detailed and emotionally charged review provides extensive historical context for "West Corners Trailers," describing it as a former mobile home park with a long history of changing ownership, declining conditions, and ultimately, its destruction and transformation into a "Forever Green Space" after a major flood in September 2011. This conflicting information requires a detailed clarification.

Based on the overwhelming evidence from the longer customer review and common knowledge within the Endicott community, it is highly probable that "West Corners Trailers" was indeed a mobile home park. The detailed recounting of its history, from a well-maintained senior community to a neglected area, and finally its demolition by FEMA and the Town of Union, strongly supports this conclusion. Therefore, it is important for New York users to understand that if they are searching for a car wash, "West Corners Trailers" at 305 Carl St, Endicott, NY, is not the place they are looking for, as it does not operate as a car wash and the property itself has undergone a significant transformation.

Location and Accessibility

The address associated with "West Corners Trailers" is 305 Carl St, Endicott, NY 13760, USA. This location is within the village of Endicott, part of Broome County, New York. Carl Street is a residential road. However, as previously stated, this location is no longer home to a mobile home park or, based on available information, a car wash.

According to the detailed historical review, after a major flood in September 2011, the properties at what was "West Corners Trailers" were bought out by FEMA and the Town of Union. The trailers and homes were demolished, and the property has since been designated as "Forever Green Space." This means that while the address exists, the physical establishment described as "West Corners Trailers" (whether a mobile home park or a supposed car wash) is no longer operational there. Access to this location would now lead to a green space rather than any commercial establishment.

Services Offered

Given that "West Corners Trailers" was a mobile home park that no longer exists as such, and there is strong evidence against it being a car wash, no current services are offered at this location under this name. The detailed customer review specifically states that the property was bought out and demolished to become "Forever Green Space" following the 2011 flood.

Therefore, any services related to a "car wash" as described in one of the provided reviews (e.g., "premium wash," cleaning cars, removing bugs, addressing bird droppings) would either be from a different establishment mistakenly associated with this address or from a period before the park's demolition, which is no longer relevant for current users.

Based on the prevailing public data, this location does not offer:

  • Car washing services (express, self-serve, full-service, touchless, soft cloth, etc.)
  • Vehicle detailing
  • Any other automotive services
  • Mobile home park services (lot rentals, amenities, etc.)

Features / Highlights

Since "West Corners Trailers" at 305 Carl St, Endicott, NY, is no longer an active business and primarily represents a former mobile home park that has been converted into a green space, there are no operational "features" or "highlights" in the traditional sense of a commercial establishment.

Instead, the "features" or "highlights" of this location are historical and environmental:

  • Historical Significance: The site represents a significant piece of Endicott's local history, having been a mobile home park for decades.
  • Community Transformation: It stands as an example of a community's response to natural disaster (the 2011 flood), with FEMA and the Town of Union intervening to transform the area.
  • "Forever Green Space": The most prominent current "feature" is its designation as a permanent green space. This means the area contributes to local ecology, storm water management, and potentially offers passive recreational opportunities, preserving open land for the community.
  • Absence of Commercial Activity: A key "highlight" for clarity is the absence of any commercial operations, including car wash facilities, ensuring that those looking for such services do not make a wasted trip.

The detailed review mentioning the property's transformation strongly refutes the idea of any commercial operations, especially a car wash, being present or functional at this address today. The property's current state as a green space is its most important characteristic for locals.

Promotions or Special Offers

As "West Corners Trailers" at 305 Carl St, Endicott, NY, is no longer an active commercial establishment and the property has been converted into a "Forever Green Space," there are no promotions or special offers related to any business, including a car wash, available at this location. Businesses offer promotions to attract customers to their services or products, but this site does not provide any such offerings.

Therefore, New York residents should not expect to find any:

  • Car wash discounts or wash packages
  • Loyalty programs
  • Seasonal offers
  • Any other commercial promotions

The site's current purpose as a green space means its value to the community is ecological and recreational, not commercial. Any search for promotions or services at "West Corners Trailers" for a car wash would be futile, as the location has undergone a significant transformation and no longer supports such operations.

Phone: (607) 748-3800 (Note: The provided phone number is likely associated with "West Corners Trailers" in its historical context as a mobile home park, or potentially a legacy number. Given the information that the property is now "Forever Green Space" and no longer a commercial entity, this phone number would likely not connect to a car wash or any active business at this address. Calls to this number might go unanswered, be redirected, or connect to a non-existent entity, as the business is defunct at this location.)

Mobile Phone: +1 607-748-3800

Given the confirmed status of the property as "Forever Green Space" following demolition, there is no active business or car wash at this address to contact. Conclusion: Why this place is suitable for locals

While the initial query implied "West Corners Trailers" at 305 Carl St, Endicott, NY, was a "car wash," public data and a detailed customer review clarify that this is not the case. Instead, "West Corners Trailers" was historically a mobile home park that no longer exists at this location. After a devastating flood in September 2011, the property was acquired by FEMA and the Town of Union, and the structures were demolished. It has since been designated as "Forever Green Space."

Therefore, for New York residents, this location is suitable not as a commercial service provider like a car wash, but as a historical marker and an environmental asset. Its current suitability for locals lies in:

  • Community Resilience: It stands as a testament to the community's recovery and adaptation after a significant natural disaster, showcasing how land can be repurposed for public benefit.
  • Environmental Preservation: As "Forever Green Space," the area contributes to local ecological health, potentially aiding in flood mitigation and providing open natural areas within the urban fabric. This is valuable for air quality, local wildlife, and overall environmental well-being.
  • Passive Recreation Potential: While not a developed park, green spaces can often be used for informal activities like walking or simply enjoying nature, offering a quiet respite for local residents.
  • Clarity and Awareness: Understanding the true nature of this location helps locals avoid wasted trips when searching for a car wash or other commercial services, directing them to active and appropriate businesses elsewhere in Endicott.

In conclusion, while "West Corners Trailers" is not a car wash and no longer functions as a mobile home park, its transformation into a permanent green space reflects a significant chapter in Endicott's history and serves as a quiet, natural area for the community, a different but equally important kind of "suitability for locals."

This west corners trailer park use to be for seniors back in the 1970's till the 1980's. The elderly took great care of their mobile homes and their tiny yards. When the original owners Dan and Alvina Williams passed away they left the trailer part 2 their son Doug Williams. Doug Williams started letting anybody move into this trailer park, Doug Williams passed away and the trailer park was sold to another party. The owner of the mobile home park following the Williams, started letting anyone and anything move into the trailer park. The once nice mobile homes and yards had become trashy mobile homes and unkept yards. Trash littered all over the area. Drug users, sex offenders, and just plain out right lazy careless people. You can't help being poor or working paycheck to paycheck, sometimes we can't help the job that we have. But there is no excuse to be sloppy, dirty, and trashy. A major flood in September of 2011 had destroyed the trailer park and homes that lined the outside of the trailer park. FEMA and the Town of Union bought out the property and demolition the trailers and homes and now the property is Forever Green Space.
