Rutherford Car Wash

I have no words to describe how grateful I am to Pedro, the owner of Rutherford Car Wash. My friend moved to another country and left me with his 20 year old SUV to sell. The car was disgusting. There was food and garbage all over the place, ground into the seats and carpets. It was so grimy and greasy on the dashboard and all over the car that I was afraid to sit in it. I called a few detailing places to get prices. Since Rutherford Car Wash was closer than the other places, I stopped to see if the prices were competitive. Although people in my community had recommended Rutherford Car Wash on chat groups, I was a little reluctant since it recently changed ownership. Of all the companies I called, Rutherford Car Wash gave me the best price, so it was a no brainer. Some of the other companies, especially the mobile ones I called did not do exterior cleaning, which I didn’t care that much about, since it’s a 20 year old dented car, but that was a nice bonus. When I dropped the car off with Pedro, I hated that disgusting car and was afraid that some creature would attack me that was hidden in the layers and layers of filth. But Pedro loved my car so much, that after the hours and hours he worked on it (much more than any other company would do for that price), Pedro changed my disgust into love. He made the car sparkling clean and beautiful! In most businesses you get what you pay for. In car detailing the more hours they work on your car, the better it will look. In this case, I paid the same as the lowest competitor and got what I think was a far more beautiful looking car. Thank you Pedro; I love you for bringing new love into my life. I’m sorry I only included pictures after the car was detailed, since I was too disgusted to take pictures before. Too bad, you would be shocked. Nobody would believe it’s the same car.P By the way, when you have your car detailed, the normal custom is to find out who did the work and tip according to how well they did the job, regardless of whether the owner or an employee does the work. I was going to give Pedro a 10% tip, but when I saw how amazing the car looked and how much time he spent on it, I gave him a 20% tip.

When this placed opened up a few years ago it was great. I walked away completely satisfied. Now each time I go I find that it just isn't the same. For $30, these spots should have been washed off. The vacuum job could have been better too. Time to find a better place to go.

I recently visited Rutherford Car Wash and unfortunately, I was very disappointed with the service. I paid for the #2 package, which cost about $24, but the quality was far from satisfactory. I’ve attached photos to show the results. This place used to be great, but it seems like there has been a decline in standards. I won't be returning after today. Very upset with the experience.

My usual go to spot for a quick, basic exterior wash when I just have to get a quick clean or try to get the salt off after a winter storm. Took advantage of the warm weather this past weekend & decided to spring for a #3 (Super Full) since it’s been a loooong winter & both the interior & exterior needed some extra TLC. Needless to say, I’m disappointed in this waste of money. This package included interior vacuuming which is debatable if it was even done, an air dusting of the interior, which was still dirty after they were done with it, rubber mats washed … it was clearly more of just a rinse because they’re still visibly dirty & tire shine (my rims are still dirty). I likely could’ve done a better job if I did it myself & saved myself $20. If I return, it will only be for a quick exterior wash, but I will definitely be going elsewhere for more detailed work & suggest you do too.

I just picked up my car from Rutherford Car Wash. They did a phenomenal job of detailing the vehicle! Pedro the manager & his team really have pride in their work. There was literally not a speck of crumbs or dirt inside the vehicle. I also have to compliment them on the excellent job that they did on the exterior of the car. I don't think that my car looked so good even when I first brought it home from the dealership!
