Hurricane Car Wash

Today, 5/30/2024. Silver Subaru Outback. Approximately 2:20pm Bay 1, no soap coming out of sprayer. No phone number listed by change machine or the office next door. Never had an issue here before. I paid for 7:00. Make me whole. Good customer service will get your review changed.

Pretty poor car wash overall. Soap seems diluted and barely does anything to actually wash the car. Oddly enough, the tire cleaner seemed to push out a decent mix. Signs inside and outside the bay are either falling apart or completely illegible. The drainage inside the bay I used seemed to either be clogged or not sufficient enough for the amount of water used in a car wash. By the time I was done, I had a pretty large puddle to walk around in to finish cleaning my car. The car wash is also cash only with a change machine that accepts $1 and $5 bills only. As of this review, it's $2 for 4 minutes. Bay walls aren't full to the ceiling either, so if someone is using a bay next to you, you'll have their mist dropping on you the entire time. And you can't use a bucket or pad to wash your car if there's anyone waiting (according to the posted signs). Seems like a forgotten car wash that's just there to cash in. I'll be trying somewhere else next time.

Usually wash my vehicles here, weekly, and have had no issues (tip: Iast 2 bays have the best water pressure and brushes😉) Unfortunately tonight's visit left a bad taste in my mouth. My husband and I met his uncle there to clean and apply an anti-fog spray to his headlights (after using some of the amenities) A man approached us and said bluntly "this isn't a mechanic shop." We politely informed him that we were just finishing up and we had just spent about $20 cleaning our vehicles. Not good busines to rush customers out, especially when we were the only vehicles there ! Not really impressed and am likely to go somewhere else to clean my vehicles from now on.

Local carwash, on nice days, it can be busy tho, you may have to wait for a bay. Water pressure is always good.. soap, wax, tire foam, always come out. 2.00 to start. Gives you 4 min.
