Wills Auto Service Introduce

Welcome to Wills Auto Service, located at 1018 E Columbia Ave, Battle Creek, MI 49014, USA. Operating within the Auto Repair Stations category, Wills Auto Service offers automotive repair and maintenance services to the Battle Creek community. They can be contacted at (269) 965-3121 or via their mobile number +1 269-965-3121 to inquire about their services.

Information regarding the specific environment of Wills Auto Service is not detailed in the provided reviews. However, as a local auto repair station, one would typically expect a service garage equipped with the necessary tools, lifts, and diagnostic equipment to handle various automotive repairs and maintenance. A reception area would likely be present for customers to discuss their vehicle issues with service staff. However, it is important to note that the overwhelmingly negative customer feedback raises significant concerns that may overshadow the physical environment itself.

Wills Auto Service, as an Auto Repair Station, appears to offer a range of services, including tune-ups, brake repairs, serpentine belt replacement, power steering hose line replacement, and shock replacement (specifically mentioning Billstein shocks). However, the customer reviews detail significant issues encountered with the quality and execution of these services. One review describes a simple tune-up that resulted in the vehicle needing to be towed back to the shop multiple times, with the problems allegedly worsening. Another extensive review recounts instances of overcharging, prolonged service times (vehicle sitting for two weeks untouched), disagreements over diagnostic fees, the use of rusted replacement parts, and unresolved issues with brake squealing despite multiple visits and charges. These accounts suggest potential inconsistencies and issues with the quality and reliability of the services provided.

Based on the overwhelmingly negative customer feedback, it is difficult to identify positive features of Wills Auto Service. The reviews highlight several significant areas of concern. One recurring theme is potential overcharging compared to dealer prices. Another is excessively long service times and a perceived lack of urgency in addressing customer vehicles. The insistence on charging for each diagnostic, even when the initial work appears to be faulty, is also a point of contention. Furthermore, the alleged replacement of lug nuts with rusted ones raises questions about attention to detail and the quality of replacement parts used. The negative reviews also point to issues with communication, including abruptness and a lack of proactive updates.

The most striking feature emerging from the customer reviews is a pattern of negative experiences, including unresolved issues, additional charges for revisiting the same problems, and what is perceived as poor customer service. The detailed account of repeated brake issues, the alleged hanging up on a customer, and the dismissive attitude described by one reviewer paint a concerning picture of the customer service experience at Wills Auto Service. The recommendation to "completely skip this place" and go to other local mechanics underscores the severity of the dissatisfaction expressed by these customers.

There is no information provided regarding specific promotional activities or discounts offered by Wills Auto Service. Given the significant negative feedback concerning their core services and customer treatment, any potential promotions would need to be weighed against the reported experiences of other customers. It is advisable for local users to exercise extreme caution and thoroughly research current customer experiences before considering any offers from this establishment.

The strongly negative and detailed nature of the customer reviews serves as a critical piece of information for local users. These accounts allege a pattern of poor service quality, questionable pricing practices, extended delays, and unsatisfactory customer service interactions. The recommendation to seek alternative auto repair stations in the area suggests that some customers have had significantly negative experiences with Wills Auto Service. While every business can have isolated incidents, the consistency and severity of the issues raised in these reviews warrant serious consideration.

In conclusion, Wills Auto Service in Battle Creek, Michigan, is an Auto Repair Station that has received overwhelmingly negative feedback from the limited customer reviews available. These reviews detail significant concerns regarding service quality, overcharging, prolonged service times, the use of substandard replacement parts, and poor customer service. Local users are strongly advised to carefully consider these reported experiences and potentially seek alternative auto repair services in the Battle Creek area, such as the recommended Kincaid’s or 20th Street Dan & Mel, before entrusting their vehicle to Wills Auto Service. The provided information paints a concerning picture that potential customers should be aware of.

If you are a lady completely skip this place! First visit they overcharged us by $66. More than quoted Total cost $805.32 They fixed the serpentine belt and brakes. To repair the belt it was $200 more than the dealer. The second visit there, car sat for 2 weeks before they even touched the vehicle. They insist you pay for an each diagnostic which is $120. I paid to have it towed there, reinstate insurance. Took out of storage. Plus car payment. Paid $443.92 for the power steering hose line. Had them put Billstein shocks $566.36 on rear, for our vehicle to sway to the left. Emptied things out of vehicle. For a total $1327.43 During this vehicle our lug nuts were removed they replaced them with rusted lug nuts. Bob stated there was a funeral, Tyler mom Michelle said oh when a cop car comes in they take president. In July after having brakes placed on, the brakes squealed, they said it takes time for the adjustment period. A family mechanic said you need to take it back. Took it in they quoted 6/4 charged us to look at their work. & sprayed oil it, wanted $120 but my husband went in they charged him only $60. The vehicle only had 3,799 Miles on it. Took vehicle to an honest reputable mechanic Kincaid’s they said they can warranty out their work I would just need to pay the labor. Once I took the Van in a 3 rd time for repair our brakes squealed Metal on metal. Scheduled appt for Monday came & went. Tuesday Morning I called and asked what time it will be ready. Later today Melissa stated. I asked her what time. She hung up on me. I gave her 30 minutes I called back again. She said I have to order the parts. I was extremely upset. She said we need you to sign the form. I told her that was signed last night I told her it would’ve been nice if she stated the yesterday at 8am when I dropped off vehicle. I said you should’ve told me you never ordered the parts then it switched to they needed to deal with Chris from Auto Zone the warranty department they were waiting for parts. I told them. I will call AZ. They flipped out once I told them I want to know what the hold up is and I would be calling them. Michele said “we don’t have to do anything, we are doing you a favor! She said who drives there car only 3799 miles in a year. Your vehicle sat for 9 months. Correction if you want to debate the time our van was in storage was from Thanksgiving up to April once I had vehicle towed to your place. We live 2.9 miles from employer. Don’t promise a vehicle and not deliver! Brakes are only 1.5 job At this point I ran up there picked up my vehicle 5 minutes later they said they had the part. I sat in another lot. Watched them take the van in. Meanwhile a Jeep pulls into the garage right off the street. Moral of the story. If it’s the owners buddy that’s what’s important to them. The supposed warrantied out parts sound the exact same as when I dropped the van off. They still grind. Michelle said there’s nothing we can do. After paying them another $180 later. Bob is the best thing about this shop. Mother loves to scream and say ma’am. They can’t fix a simple brakes. Skip this place go to Kincaids or 20th Street Dan & Mel.

Great people here. I'm writing this before I've even had my car looked at because of how helpful they were. My car died on the interstate and I managed to coast a mile from their shop get a tow in under an hour and had my car in their lot and next in line. Very polite and very understanding anyone should take their car here.
