Westside Auto Supply Customer Reviews

Very first review I’ve ever written, but I just had to mention how unpleasant one of the cashiers was (skinny guy with glasses). Came in to buy a very specific type of antifreeze for my truck. Seems like he was pissed off that I took so long to pick out what I needed. Wasn’t bothering anyone or asking any stupid questions. I picked out my coolant and paid $100+ with a smile. No “thank you” or “have a nice day” from slim. Came back later to return the coolant because it was cheaper at NAPA. Treated even worse, no greeting, just “what do you need”. I get better customer service from the ex-convicts at Oreilly. Never going back to this outdated dump!

Great place with plenty of parking. They can supply all your parts for your project. Most parts in stock. Don't delay call today. Go WESTSIDE

This is one of the very last locally owned auto parts stores, and undoubtedly one of the best. The level of knowledge behind the counter cannot be matched by any of the big chains. If they don't have what you need, they can usually find it, and quickly. Give these guys your first shot, keep your money local, you won't be disappointed.

We were greeted into the store. The staff were extremely helpful and gathered all the car products for me. No searching through the shelves, they did it all. Great parking lot, easy freeway on and off ramp.

Price was comparable to the cheapo places with quality and full service. They have been in our community for decades and some people think they are expensive, but their prices are fair and they know their products. I just bought a car battery there and they took care of me properly. I had confidence in their knowledge. Mechanics have referred me there in the past for specialty and harder to find items.

We broke down on our Sportfisher in Morro Bay with an alternator with a broken pulley. Dave didn’t have our alternator on hand, but was able to patch together the front of another alternator and the back of ours and get us up and running again for the trip home. You don’t see that kind of old school helpfulness and improvisation much anymore, nice to see it’s still alive. Thanks, Dave!
