Walker's Auto Clinic

Good local shop good work. However, they could have someone in the front office capable of talking. I don't want to criticize the elderly but I this is what I disliked about my experience with them.

Took longer to fix than I hoped. At least to figure out what was wrong. And it still does not feel smooth. But Jim is a real nice fellow. I just wish they would have told me what more needs to be done to have a smooth ride.

They'll get you in quick and will not grossly over charge you like Tuffy in South Lyon. Tuffy wanted to charge me $4500 dollars for a new exhaust system when my truck need a muffler and tail pipe....These guys are honest and do great work 👍

Heard good things about walkers sadly did not experience this myself. I dropped my car off Thursday and was told they would get to it. I called Saturday for an update and they said no one came into work, and would not be getting to it anytime soon. I really needed this car for the week very disappointed in the lack of communication and lack of service I received.

My grandparents went to walkers when I was a child, and 2 decades later he’s become my mechanic for 5 years. Walker has always done fantastic work on my cars. He’s also charged fairly and reasonably. When I was 18, homeless, and had a wheel barring so bad I would cry out of fear anytime I drove, he gave me a payment arrangement. Some weeks I could only give $25, but he was happy to receive a payment on time no matter how small . Today I got my brakes done. It’s a Mini Cooper, and I shopped around to see who was the cheapest as it’s foreign and costs $100 for an oil change alone. After lots of estimates, Walker said $175 for the brake pads. He called and said I needed new rotors. He charged me $268 for new brakes AND rotors on a foreign car and was ready 3 hours after I got the call. If you need a mechanic, RUN to see Walker. You’ll get phonemenal work, FAIR prices, and great customer service.
