Voss Collision Center and Body Shop Introduce
Voss Collision Center and Body Shop, located at 94 Loop Rd, Dayton, OH 45459, USA, operates as an auto repair station catering to the needs of local vehicle owners. They can be reached by phone at (937) 428-2828 or via their mobile number, +1 937-428-2828. This establishment positions itself within the category of Auto Repair Stations, suggesting that it offers services related to the repair and maintenance of vehicles, specifically focusing on collision damage and bodywork.
Based on its categorization, one might expect Voss Collision Center and Body Shop to provide a range of services typical of an auto body shop. These generally include the assessment of vehicle damage following collisions, the provision of repair estimates, the execution of bodywork such as dent removal, panel replacement, and frame straightening, and the application of paint finishes to match the original vehicle color. Collision centers often work with insurance companies to process claims and facilitate the repair process for their customers.
However, it is crucial to consider the information available from online reviews to gain a more comprehensive understanding of the potential customer experience at Voss Collision Center and Body Shop. Several customers have shared their experiences, and it is important to acknowledge these perspectives when evaluating this auto repair option.
One recurring theme in the provided reviews is significant dissatisfaction with the duration of repairs. Multiple reviewers reported their vehicles being at the shop for extended periods, ranging from six weeks to over nine weeks, even for what were described as minor collision repairs. Delays were attributed to waiting for backordered parts in one instance, while another reviewer experienced a prolonged six-week wait for repairs to a minor scratch and dent.
Communication appears to be another major area of concern highlighted in the reviews. Customers reported difficulty in contacting staff, specifically mentioning a lack of returned phone calls and unanswered emails. One reviewer stated that calling the shop felt like a burden and that there was a general lack of customer care. The inability to get updates on the repair status of their vehicles caused considerable frustration for these customers.
Furthermore, one review raised concerns regarding the scope and cost of the repairs undertaken. A customer who presented their vehicle for a minor scratch and dent reported that their insurance was billed over $6,000, with numerous parts allegedly replaced, leading to suspicion about the necessity of the extent of the work and potential implications for the vehicle's resale value. This reviewer also noted the stark contrast in repair time compared to the other vehicle involved in the same minor collision, which was reportedly repaired at a different shop in just four days.
The interaction with staff, as described in one review, was notably negative. The customer recounted being met with dismissive and unhelpful attitudes, including a claim from the shop that they had "teams of attorneys" and "more money" when the customer attempted to resolve issues amicably. This suggests a potentially adversarial approach to customer concerns.
In response to one of the negative reviews, Voss Collision Center and Body Shop appears to have provided a reply, as indicated by an "Update" in the review text. However, the customer who wrote the review found the response unsatisfactory, stating that their core concerns regarding the repair process, cost, and lack of communication were not adequately addressed. The customer also pointed out discrepancies and issues with the contact information provided by the shop online.
Given these publicly available reviews, potential local users considering Voss Collision Center and Body Shop for their auto repair needs should be aware of the reported issues concerning repair timelines, communication, customer service, and billing practices. While the establishment is categorized as an Auto Repair Station offering collision repair and bodywork, the experiences shared by previous customers paint a concerning picture.
It is important to note that these reviews represent individual experiences and may not be representative of every customer interaction. However, the consistency of the negative feedback across multiple reviews regarding communication and repair delays warrants careful consideration. Local users might want to weigh these reported experiences against their own expectations for service and communication when choosing an auto repair shop.
As an objective introduction based on the provided information, it is difficult to highlight specific positive features or promotional information for Voss Collision Center and Body Shop. The dominant narrative from the customer reviews focuses on significant challenges in service delivery and customer interaction. Therefore, this introduction serves primarily as an informational overview of the establishment's category and location, coupled with a detailed account of the concerns raised by online reviewers. Local users are advised to conduct their own due diligence and potentially seek additional information or consider alternative auto repair options in the Dayton, Ohio area based on their individual needs and risk tolerance.
In conclusion, while Voss Collision Center and Body Shop is positioned as an Auto Repair Station providing collision and bodywork services in Dayton, Ohio, the available customer reviews strongly suggest potential issues with repair duration, communication, customer service, and billing transparency. Local users should carefully consider these factors when deciding whether to engage their services.

I will never again take a damaged auto to Voss Collision for repair! I took my Lexus RX350 to Voss for a minor rear bumper repair. After nine weeks no repair work had begun because Voss was awaiting backordered parts. Since I was having to rent a car during the repair, I asked Voss to return my car to me until needed parts were available. They refused, saying they had already removed a backordered glass that rendered my car undriveable. The insurance company and I questioned why parts would be removed when they knew replacements might not be available for months. Their answer was that they didn't know at the outset that that part would be needed until after it was removed, yet their repair estimate clearly reflected the part would be needed. After eight weeks, I visited Voss and again asked for my car until work could begin. Again I was given an emphatic no. I pleaded that we settle this amicable rather than possibly having to resort to legal action to get the return of may own car. To that they laughingly said "we have teams of attorneys to handle cases like yours and we have more money than you." Finally, after more than nine weeks, my repaired car was returned to me. I still have a $1700 car rental bill to pay as the insurance company would not pay for rentals during periods of waiting for parts.

This is the single worst experience I’ve had with a company ever. I’ve never written a bad review about anyone, ever, but this place is beyond terrible. Let’s start with the entire staff I dealt with. Calling here was always something I dreaded because no matter who answered the phone, I was always meant to feel like my calling was a burden, and there was Zero customer care. But more importantly, I want to specifically call out Cliff, who was apparently the only person who could answer what was happening with my vehicle. My car ended up being there for 6 weeks for a Very minor collision. In that time, Cliff not one single time answered his phone. And in that time, Cliff Not One Single Time returned my calls. Not once. Even the last time, I pleaded over voicemail. Nothing. At that time, my insurance rep also told me Cliff never answered her calls and would normally did not return her calls. What does this person do there??? No one there cares about customers. When the car was in the shop (6 weeks), I only received 1 call from Voss; it was him telling me that there was one more insurance supplement to be done and they were shooting to have my car back by mid-week. I got it back nearly 3 weeks after that call. I also tried to email the manager. No response. Their info email on their website is a dead email. They are impossible to deal with. As for my car, I was referred to them by Mercedes, which I called and told them about my experience and implored them to stop recommending Voss. It took 1.5 months to get my car in there. I was in a Very minor collision in which my car was going roughly three mph and the other car was parked. I had a 6-7 scratch and a small dent. Both are on the bumper. Both minor. They charged my insurance over $6k in repairs and replaced a ton of stuff, making it seem like I was in some major crash on paper and surely lowering my car's resale value. And again? It took them 6 weeks to do all this. The other car involved had more damage and had their car back in 4 days (at another shop, of course). It took them nearly a week to finalize my paper work! I’ve already told many, many people to never do business here as it was a regular topic of discussion of when on earth I’d ever get my vehicle back. And I will continue to champion informing people to Never go to this terrible place. And if you’re reading this, do Not go here! Update: In response to the response, the email is the only one on the website. See image. If you click on it, it switches to a different email that is dead (info@vosscollision.com). I also copied this email directly (mikemoore@vossauto.net) and emailed you at this email address, to which you never responded. Additionally, you missed my entire point on the repair process and cost, and I honestly am over dealing with this entire organization. My point is simply I cannot prove or say for sure Voss did more repairs than were needed, but it is highly suspect in my eyes; perhaps if any single person returned my calls or emails and explained a single thing in the 6 weeks Voss had my vehicle, this would have been more clear to me, but that's not the experience I had.

A customer sent this email to our Shop Manager at Voss Collision Centre. Corey stated, "I was just at Voss Collision/Paint shop and they were all fantastic. I received excellent service/attention as soon as I walked in. The woman scheduling walked outside and looked over my truck. She then contacted a man in the paint department who also came outside to look over the paint. Then the manager came out and looked it over as well. He showed me how to fix appearance of the paint on my truck. I was then shown how to remove the faded look. The problem had been bothering me for a long time, and these three people all made me feel like a valued customer. Many thanks to everyone involved. 🙏 "

When we purchased our 2025 RAV4 we purchased the Simoniz treatment for protection both inside and outside. It’s a light colored interior. I ended up getting an ink mark about 5 inches long on the back of the front passenger seat. They couldn’t get it off at the dealership so I was referred to Voss Collision. My wife also back into something leaving a dent in the tailgate. The manager, Mike Moore, filed a claim with Simoniz for me regarding the ink mark. Dennis did the body work and Tony handled the ink mark. I am 100% satisfied with the results. You can’t tell that either incident happened. I am extremely happy with Voss Collision and especially Tony and Dennis.

I highly recommend Voss Collision center to anyone needing bodywork done on their vehicle. I was beyond upset when a guy ran into the drivers side of my brand new bmw with his RAV4. The entire drivers side of my vehicle I’ve had for 6 months was destroyed. Thankfully the Voss Collision Center at Cadillac was able to fix my vehicle and it looks just as good as the day I bought it! Huge thank you to Jake and Bill for making the entire process smooth and efficient. They got my vehicle back to me and looking brand new within a week of starting the repairs!
