Vernal's Service Station

I was driving from NYC to Eastern Connecticut and one of my run-flat tires got destroyed by a pot hole. I had my car towed to this location Saturday late at night past working hours and they were able to fix it on Monday. They had to replace the tire and had to special order it so it took about 6+ hours.

I had a terrible experience. Brought my car in because I had a mouse. Was told they would remove the seats and do a thorough clean of the car. In addition to that, replace the cabin filter and plug the tire. The only thing that was done was they plugged the tire. And removed a mouse from the hood. Yet nothing was done about the inside of the car and they never replaced the cabin filter. My car was there from 9am- 5:30pm. When voicing my concerns they acted like they could care less. I definitely will not be returning again.

Blown away by the service. I brought my car to Dave in the morning, he gave me ride to the local Avis rental. I figured it would take a day or 2 for him to run a diagnostics, as his lot was packed with other cars. By 11 am he contacted me with a quote, by 4 pm he replaced my alternator. I don't know Dave, this was the first time I have ever done business with him. A friend recommended this service station. I don't ever expect same day service when it comes to car repairs. Some how he fit my car into his busy day. He won my repeated business.

Vernal's was recommended by the guys at Town Fair Tires. when I first arrived, Dave hopped in my car within 5 minutes to listen to my problem, then asked when I could bring it in. The morning I brought it in, he drove me back to my house. Job done in a day (both wheel bearings) fair price exactly as quoted. Highly recommended! Hard to find a good honest shop, and I know I've found one.
