Van Damme Conversions

We found Van Damme Conversions at a van show and knew the second we looked at their builds that this was the company we wanted. We spoke with Aaron soon after and began the design/build process. Aaron was fantastic at keeping me updated, sending photos, and answering all my questions. The build was finished exactly when it was promised and delivery day went as planned. The quality of the work is apparent everywhere you look, inside and out and their attention to detail shows. We are very happy with our build and would highly recommend Van Damme.

Our build, Frankie, was a special one to say the least. The journey to find the perfect conversion company that fit our needs, shared our vision, and was up for the challenge took a lot of research! My husband, Tyler and I are from Las Vegas and knew we were going to have to travel to find a team to work with as the skill set just wasn't available here. After multiple failed attempts at making a connection with the right crew, we found Van Damme on a van conversion site! After the first introductory phone call with Aaron, we became so hopeful because he was equally as stoked on our project and eager to collaborate with our ideas. He provided us with so much knowledge on aspects of our build that we never considered. We knew after that call that we had to make the trip to meet the team! The first meeting we all just "clicked". Tyler and I knew they were the ones. Being out of state can always scary because you are putting a lot of trust in others to make your vision happen the way you see it, but the communication was always active and respectful and there were never decisions being made without our approval. I come from a design background and Tyler comes from an automotive background, so when we put our trust in someone, it really means a lot! We went down to visit a couple times during the build and every time Aaron and Luke spent nearly the entire day with us, making plans & revisions, getting decisions made, and talking about next steps. As this was a unique build, there were definitely compromises we had to make along the way, but I never felt as if they were sacrifices, rather adjustments and upgrades to the longevity and overall function of our build. We seriously & genuinely could not fathom the words of gratitude that we have for this team! They tirelessly and passionately put their hearts into this project and it shows in the craftsmanship of their work. I could not imagine having this build completed by anyone else. We threw some wild ideas at these guys and they made it all happen! So so so proud of this team. Everytime we take a trip in Frankie we learn new characteristics of our build that make us smile. If we had to do it all over again, no doubt in my mind that Van Damme would be the ones. Happy to be part of the VDC family !

Aaron and John were fantastic to work with on my interior van modification. I brought my van in to upgrade the batteries to lithium (LiFePO4), and they took the time to thoroughly assess my setup before providing several options. They walked me through the pros and cons of each choice, ensuring I felt confident in my decision. Their workmanship was top-notch, and they even went the extra mile to fix some wiring issues left by the original builders. I highly recommend their shop for anyone looking for expert craftsmanship and excellent customer service!

Aaron and the crew at Van Damme did an amazing job installing both my Esbar cabin and Hydronic Engine Block Heater - both worked perfectly and the craftsmanship was excellent = now we are ready to chase the snow. Finish ahead of schedule too! I would not hesitate to use them again.

Not only are these the best van builders out there, but they are also the best guys you will ever meet! They will literally go out of their way to make you feel like family! Not only did they build me my first tiny dream home on wheels, but because they were so amazing, I went back and had them build me a 2nd dream home! Having 2 vans built by this company really shows how much love and craftsmanship goes into every build they do!

We originally took our 2016 Sprinter to another shop in San Diego County for an electrical overhaul. After months of back and forth, it became clear they couldn’t rework the system properly. Enter Van Damme—our van-of-worms didn’t scare them off. They quickly identified all the existing errors (and then some), and completed the repairs thoroughly and fairly. This team is professional, highly knowledgeable, and communicates clearly every step of the way. Their attention to detail is top-notch. Next time, we won’t waste time or money elsewhere. Van Damme is a class act!
