Van Born & Beech Daly - Goodyear Auto Service Introduce

Located at 25822 Van Born Rd, Dearborn Heights, MI 48125, USA, Van Born & Beech Daly - Goodyear Auto Service operates as an Auto Repair Station, providing a range of automotive services to local vehicle owners. As a recognized Goodyear service center, it offers various maintenance and repair solutions. For inquiries or to schedule an appointment, customers can contact them at (313) 722-4306 or +1 313-722-4306.

The environment at Van Born & Beech Daly - Goodyear Auto Service, based on customer feedback, appears to have mixed aspects. For routine services like oil changes, the waiting area is described as "clean and comfortable," suggesting a pleasant space for customers awaiting their vehicle. The staff are noted for being "friendly and professional," contributing to a welcoming initial impression. However, for more extensive or recurring issues, the environment appears to be less consistent, with concerns raised about communication and the overall transparency of the repair process. The perception of honesty and trust can significantly impact a customer's experience, and while some find the service honest with "no pressure to upsell" for simple tasks, others have expressed doubts about the accuracy of diagnoses and the forthrightness of information provided, especially during longer repair periods.

Regarding services, Van Born & Beech Daly - Goodyear Auto Service is a part of the broader Goodyear network, which typically provides a comprehensive suite of automotive care. Based on customer reviews, the shop is proficient in routine maintenance tasks, particularly oil changes. Customers have praised the speed and efficiency of oil change services, noting that they are "in and out quickly without making me feel rushed." During these routine visits, the staff reportedly take the time to "explain what they were doing and check other fluids and filters as a courtesy," which is a positive indication of thoroughness and customer care. This suggests that for basic, straightforward services, the shop strives to provide a professional and efficient experience.

However, the customer feedback also highlights areas where the services offered, specifically for more complex or recurring issues, have faced challenges. One significant concern revolves around steering and suspension issues, with one customer reporting bringing their car back multiple times for a "pop/clicking sound in my steering when turning" without a lasting resolution. This suggests that while basic maintenance is handled well, diagnostics and effective repair of more intricate mechanical problems might be inconsistent. Furthermore, an alarming incident of an alleged critical oversight, where the shop reportedly "leaving the oil out of my daughters Dodge van after they did the oil pan and gasket," indicates a severe lapse in quality control that could lead to engine damage. The experience with brake service also raises questions, as a customer mentioned that a new shop fixed their brakes and "some of your work you did," and questioned why the severity of their brake wear wasn't communicated during previous visits when tires were removed.

The features of Van Born & Beech Daly - Goodyear Auto Service, as gleaned from the provided information, include its status as a Goodyear-affiliated service center, implying access to Goodyear's general standards and product lines, particularly tires. Its location at 25822 Van Born Rd in Dearborn Heights makes it easily accessible to local residents. For quick services like oil changes, the professionalism and friendliness of the staff, along with a comfortable waiting area, are notable features. The offer of complimentary fluid and filter checks during oil changes is another customer-friendly feature. However, the features also include inconsistencies in diagnostic accuracy and communication, particularly for prolonged repair situations. The experience of cars being held for multiple days with "very little updates" and a perceived lack of honesty about the status of repairs (e.g., car being in the parking lot despite being told it was disassembled) points to significant operational challenges in managing workflow and customer expectations.

Regarding promotional information, the positive review for oil changes serves as a form of positive word-of-mouth, highlighting aspects such as "quick, friendly, and professional service" and "honest service with no pressure to upsell." This kind of direct customer endorsement is invaluable for attracting new clients for routine services. The provision of a "free oil change when the next one was due for the inconvenience" in one instance, while an attempt to rectify a negative experience, also acts as a promotional gesture, albeit in a reactive rather than proactive manner. However, the overwhelmingly negative review, detailing unresolved issues, perceived dishonesty, and significant safety concerns, acts as counter-promotional information. In an age of online reviews, such detailed negative feedback can heavily influence potential customers, overshadowing positive experiences. For a business like this, proactive management of customer expectations and consistent service quality across all repair types would be crucial for building a strong and uniformly positive promotional image.

In conclusion, Van Born & Beech Daly - Goodyear Auto Service in Dearborn Heights, MI, presents a mixed picture. While it appears to be a capable and convenient option for routine services like oil changes, characterized by friendly staff and efficient turnaround times, concerns emerge when dealing with more complex or recurring mechanical problems. Issues related to diagnostic accuracy, communication transparency, and the consistency of repair quality have been raised by some customers. For residents considering this auto repair station, it appears to be a viable choice for simple, quick services, but for more intricate or long-term vehicle issues, a more detailed discussion with the service center and careful consideration of all available information might be prudent.

Sure! Here's a solid review you could use for an oil change service: --- **5 Stars – Quick, Friendly, and Professional Service** I recently stopped by for an oil change and was really impressed with the entire experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and professional from the moment I arrived. They got me in and out quickly without making me feel rushed, and they took the time to explain what they were doing and check other fluids and filters as a courtesy. The waiting area was clean and comfortable, and I appreciated the honest service with no pressure to upsell. Definitely coming back here for my next one—highly recommend!

I get it, not everyone has the same experience, but this is my 100% true experience with this Goodyear location (Vanborn and Beach Daily)... I have been here 3 times now for the same issues and STILL hearing a pop/clicking sound in my steering when turning. I was told if I was still having issues to bring it back in, AGAIN!!! No thank you. At this point I refuse to bring it back (so PLEASE PLEASE DON'T call me, I won't answer, I will not be back no matter what I am told, it will be a waste of both our time. I found a new shop who had fixed my breaks (and some of your work you did), this was a safety issue and I put my family/kids in this car). In all honesty, after the last time taking it in and I was told my front end had to be taken apart once again and not being told my breaks were as bad as they were, sadly I am just done with this Goodyear shop. I just question how did you not even see how bad the breaks were when having to take tires and everything all apart? Why wasn't I told? The last time I taken my car in, it was there 4-5 days (I was given a free oil change when the next one was due for the inconvenience, but I don't even trust them now due to them leaving the oil out of my daughters Dodge van after they did the oil pan and gasket, it would have caused her the engine!!). I got very little updates during the 4-5 days on what was going on in my car and when I even got them I was told things that made me question them, I felt I was being lied to. I was told a few different things, I was told my car was taken all apart and just needed put together but will be done by the end of the day, I was told the car was being test drivin (told this a few times) and would get a call as soon as they got back that day, but didn't get a call till I called them the next day. I was told they were under staffed and busy, but why would I be told to take my car in at this time than, why would you still take cars in after mine if you knew you are short staffed and unable to get it back in a timely manner. I live not even 5 minutes from this shop and when I drove by, my car was in the parking lot not even being worked on when I was told it was taken apart just needed to be put back together. You should not be telling your customers lies, you should be honest with people and how long you will be keeping their cars.

From the moment my husband walked in, these guys have been absolutely amazing. They provided exceptional service and showed great honesty. They even offered us water while we waited. I highly recommend bypassing all other shops and come here because tires are not all that they do!!! Ask for Al.. he will take care of you!! You won't be disappointed. It feels like being part of a family, and they also offer financing if you need it!

Fair prices, friendly and welcoming no matter how many times I’ve had to come. I’ve had so many issues with my vehicle due to it being an older car. They’ve always been my go to place.

Took my car here a couple weeks ago. It sounded like I was riding a jet engine when I drove. It was so loud I would have to almost yell to talk to my passengers, and had to keep a window cracked open otherwise the interior sound was loud enough to make it hard to focus on driving. I knew there was something very wrong with my car and that it was probably dangerous to be driving. This shop told me what needed to be done asap to make my car safe again. They were SO thorough with their inspection. I knew I needed at least one bearing replaced, they found one other needed to be done, and a control arm and something else needed to be repaired to make my car safe again. I got my car back two days later, and it had gone from a jet engine to a cat quietly purring. My 2007 ford sounds like a brand new car and I finally feel safe driving it again. These auto mechanics are magicians, and their costs are so reasonable. They gave me a write up of the next round of repairs I should do. Even though I knew -and they told me- I need minor repairs like a new washer fluid reservoir, they gave me a list of more major things that will make my car easier to handle, like replacing rusted shocks and struts instead. Super down to earth owner and employees. They will always have my business and high recommendations! In these past few weeks I can't stop smiling when I drove, when I used to be scared on my 30 min commute to work. Thank you to the shop!
