TransAxle LLC Introduce
For businesses and individuals in Cinnaminson, NJ, and the surrounding areas requiring specialized services for heavy-duty drivetrain components, TransAxle LLC is a prominent establishment. Located at 2501 NJ-73, Cinnaminson, NJ 08077, USA, TransAxle LLC operates within the Auto Repair Stations category, with a specific and recognized expertise in transmissions, axles, and related power delivery systems. This specialization indicates that they provide highly technical "services" for the repair and rebuilding of these critical components, as well as supplying "goods for sale" in the form of rebuilt or new units and parts. Their focus appears to be on components that are often found in commercial vehicles, trucks, and other heavy-duty applications.
TransAxle LLC's location on NJ-73, a major state highway, suggests excellent accessibility for commercial and passenger vehicles alike. As a facility specializing in drivetrain components, the operational environment would be geared towards heavy-duty mechanical work. This typically includes:
- Large Service Bays: Ample space for working on trucks, commercial vehicles, and other vehicles requiring drivetrain service. These bays would be equipped with heavy-duty lifts and specialized tools for transmission and axle removal and installation.
- Rebuilding Stations: Dedicated areas for disassembling, inspecting, repairing, and reassembling complex components like transmissions and differentials. This requires precision tools, cleaning stations, and organized storage for numerous small parts.
- Parts Inventory: A substantial warehouse or storage area for new and rebuilt transmissions, axles, power dividers, and individual replacement parts. This ensures ready availability of components needed for repairs and sales.
- Professional Counter/Office: A front office or counter where customers can discuss their needs, inquire about services, and handle transactions.
While specific details about the aesthetics or customer waiting areas are not provided, the focus of such a facility is on functionality and efficiency in handling large and complex mechanical systems. The environment is purpose-built for the specialized nature of their work.
TransAxle LLC's core business revolves around providing specialized services and selling related components for vehicle drivetrains. Their offerings include:
- Rebuilt Transmissions: A significant part of their business appears to be the sale of "rebuilt units," as mentioned in customer reviews regarding a "rebuilt power divider." This involves taking a used transmission, disassembling it, replacing worn or damaged parts, cleaning components, and reassembling it to meet or exceed original specifications. These rebuilt units are then sold to customers or installed in vehicles.
- Power Divider Services: Explicitly mentioned is the sale and likely repair of "power dividers," which are crucial components in multi-axle commercial vehicles for distributing power.
- Axle Repair and Service: As the name "TransAxle" implies, they would also specialize in axles, including differential repair, axle shaft replacement, and bearing services.
- Drivetrain Diagnostics: Expertise in diagnosing complex issues related to the transmission, driveshafts, differentials, and transfer cases.
- Component Sales: Selling individual new and rebuilt parts for transmissions, axles, and power dividers to other repair shops or knowledgeable customers.
- Core Return Program: Operating a system where customers return their old, faulty units (cores) in exchange for a rebuilt unit, often with a core charge that is refunded upon return of the old unit.
Their business model appears to cater heavily to the commercial vehicle sector and potentially automotive repair shops that do not specialize in drivetrain rebuilds, as well as individual vehicle owners with complex transmission or axle issues. They are primarily providing specialized repair services and the "goods for sale" are often the rebuilt components themselves.
The provided customer reviews, though limited, offer critical insights into the features and customer experience at TransAxle LLC, particularly highlighting areas of concern:
- Specialization in Drivetrain Components: A key feature is their highly specialized focus on transmissions, axles, and power dividers. This indicates deep technical knowledge and specialized equipment for these complex systems.
- Rebuilt Unit Offerings: The sale of "rebuilt units" is a core aspect of their business. This can be a cost-effective solution for customers compared to buying brand-new components.
- Concerns about Rebuilt Unit Longevity: A significant negative feature highlighted is the customer's experience with a "power divider" that developed "major vibrations" and had "prematurely worn" parts after just "1 yr 1 month." This directly challenges the reliability and long-term quality of their rebuilt products, which is a critical concern for customers making substantial investments in drivetrain components. The customer's statement, "This shouldn’t happen in 1 yr!", emphasizes the perceived lack of durability.
- Problematic Core Return Policy and Communication: Another major concern is related to their core return policy. A long-term customer reported being "scammed" by a "late core return" charge after returning a unit "within 30 days," alleging a policy change without a "courtesy notice." This indicates a lack of transparent communication, potentially arbitrary policy enforcement, and a disregard for established customer relationships, leading to feelings of distrust and frustration. The phrase "BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!" underscores the severity of this negative experience.
- Impact on Customer Trust: The issues with product longevity and the core return policy have significantly eroded customer trust, leading to statements like "I’ll never buy another rebuilt unit from this company!" and "it doesn’t make me feel good about doing more business." This directly impacts their ability to secure repeat business and positive referrals.
In summary, while TransAxle LLC offers specialized drivetrain services and components, the documented customer experiences reveal significant concerns regarding the durability of their rebuilt units and issues with transparent communication and fair policy enforcement, particularly concerning core returns.
Based on the provided customer reviews, there is no positive promotional information explicitly available for TransAxle LLC. The reviews primarily serve as a cautionary tale. Typically, businesses specializing in such components would promote:
- Expertise and Specialization: Highlighting their deep knowledge of transmissions, axles, and differentials.
- Quality of Rebuilt Units: Emphasizing the rigorous rebuilding process, use of quality parts, and testing procedures to ensure durability.
- Warranty on Rebuilt Units: Offering a clear warranty to provide peace of mind regarding the longevity of their products.
- Customer Service and Support: Highlighting responsiveness and fair dealing.
- Competitive Pricing: Positioning their rebuilt units as a cost-effective alternative to new ones.
However, the existing customer feedback suggests that TransAxle LLC might be facing challenges in consistently delivering on these typical promotional claims related to product quality and customer service. For any inquiries, including current inventory, pricing, services, or clarification on their core return policies, potential customers would need to contact TransAxle LLC directly at (856) 665-4445 or +1 856-665-4445. Given the expressed customer concerns, it is advisable for prospective clients to thoroughly discuss all terms, including warranties and core return procedures, before engaging in business.

I’ll never buy another rebuilt unit from this company! Bought a power divider 1 yr 1 month ago now it’s got major vibrations! Found these parts prematurely worn! This shouldn’t happen in 1 yr!

BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!! I thought this was going to be a good company for my company but I’m not so sure after buying a few units and returning the cores with no problems within 30 days and all of the sudden the last unit I bought I returned within 30 days and got charged a late core return it doesn’t make me feel good about doing more business. A curtesy notice would have been nice to know they changed policy I feel as if I got scammed

Had a transmission rebuilt for $8,000. Only lasted a month and had to have it removed. Company told me they’d cover labor for removal and reinstallation. Took them months to rebuild for a second time. After if was installed they fought me on the mechanics bill, had to get a lawyer. Then they said no warranty because they’re trying to base the warranty period from the first rebuild. Scumbag company do not do business with them!

Even though they may be a dealer for certain hydraulic manufacturers, they don't want to sell you parts. They want you to drop off your stuff for repair, top dollar repair, which may or may not be fair with the claim of complete rebuild and only mild refurbishment.

The most disgusting store, maybe the staff is terrible, didn't even look at the part number. He said they don't have this part, disgusting.
