Trailer Rental at U-Haul

I was told less than 2 days before my rental that they didn’t have a 20 foot truck so they switched me to a 15, then less than a day before they told me my truck didn’t have ac. Horrible experience, ended up having to rent an additional enclosed trailer to make up for the lost space of the smaller truck and they wouldn’t cover the cost or even give me a discount. Also when picking up the trailer it took an hour since one of the terminals was down and they kept trying to use it. Would not recommend U-Haul at all!

I cannot say enough good things about our experience at UHaul La Crosse. We needed a rental to tow a small truck. I made my reservation online easily but when we showed up, the young woman working helped us understand the rental was not what we needed. She swiftly provided us with the details and updated our rental to give us the trailer to support the job we needed done. She made it seem effortless and it was done in less than 5 minutes. She helped us hook up the new rental and away we went - no fuss. She provided the best customer service! She was helpful, knowledgeable, and met our needs perfectly. I highly recommend UHaul La Crosse!

Went to get a car dolly and they said the weight wasn't recommended. I'd pay for the damages what's the big whoop. I was in a bad pinch that day it was my last option (which didn't work anyways) thanks though. I understand why they said no.
