TMF Cycles Introduce

TMF Cycles, located at 940 Terminal Way, San Carlos, CA 94070, USA, can be contacted at (650) 576-7225 or +1 650-576-7225. While categorized as an Auto Repair Station, the available information and customer reviews suggest that TMF Cycles primarily functions as a supplier of motorcycle parts, with the owner, TJ, playing a significant role in customer interactions. It's important for local users to understand this focus when considering their automotive or motorcycle-related needs.

Based on the limited customer feedback available, the environment of TMF Cycles as a physical storefront is not described. However, the reviews do provide insights into the customer service aspects, particularly concerning online orders and issue resolution. One positive review highlights the owner, TJ's, prompt and professional handling of an order correction and cancellation. This suggests that when direct interaction with the owner occurs, there is a potential for a positive and efficient experience.

Conversely, another review details a significantly negative experience with an online order. This customer ordered a specific motorcycle part (a chrome Thunderheader) and faced a prolonged waiting period far exceeding the initially stated timeframe on the website. The lack of communication from TMF Cycles after the initial order confirmation is a major point of concern. The customer reported sending emails that allegedly were not received, leading to frustration and ultimately a cancellation of the order through their bank.

The services offered by TMF Cycles appear to center around the sale of motorcycle parts. The positive review involves an order correction and cancellation, indicating a transactional service. The negative review pertains to the fulfillment of an online parts order. While the category is Auto Repair Stations, there is no direct mention of repair services being offered. It is possible that TMF Cycles also provides installation services for the parts they sell, or perhaps general motorcycle repair, but this cannot be confirmed based on the current information. Local users seeking repair services should inquire specifically about this.

Features of TMF Cycles, as perceived through the customer reviews, present a mixed picture. On the positive side, the owner, TJ, is described as professional, polite, and helpful in resolving issues when directly engaged. This suggests that direct communication with the owner might lead to a satisfactory outcome. However, the negative review highlights significant issues with online order fulfillment, communication, and customer service follow-up. The discrepancy between the website's estimated delivery time and the actual delay, coupled with the lack of proactive communication, is a major drawback. The owner's suggestion that the customer should have visited the store in person after the extensive delay seems to contradict the purpose of online ordering for convenience.

Promotional information is not explicitly mentioned in the provided reviews. Auto parts stores, especially those dealing with specialized items like motorcycle parts, might occasionally offer discounts on specific brands, seasonal promotions, or package deals. Local users interested in any potential promotions at TMF Cycles should contact them directly at the provided phone numbers or inquire in person if they choose to visit the store.

For local users in San Carlos and the surrounding areas seeking motorcycle parts, TMF Cycles at 940 Terminal Way is a potential supplier. However, the contrasting customer experiences highlight the importance of careful consideration. While one customer had a positive interaction with the owner regarding an order issue, another faced significant problems with an online order due to poor communication and lengthy delays. Potential customers, especially those considering online purchases, should be aware of the issues raised in the negative review.

If local users are considering purchasing parts from TMF Cycles, especially through their website, it might be prudent to inquire about current stock levels, estimated delivery times, and their communication policies regarding order updates. For those located nearby, visiting the store in person to make inquiries or purchases might mitigate some of the communication issues reported with online orders. If repair services are needed, a direct inquiry about these services and the qualifications of any mechanics on staff would be essential.

In conclusion, TMF Cycles in San Carlos appears to be an auto parts store, likely specializing in motorcycle components. Customer experiences are varied, with one highlighting positive and professional interaction with the owner for an issue resolution, while another details a very negative experience with an online order characterized by poor communication and significant delays. Local users should weigh these contrasting experiences and consider their preferred method of purchase and need for communication when deciding whether to engage with TMF Cycles for their motorcycle parts needs. Direct communication with the store is recommended to clarify their services, policies, and current inventory.

TMF Cycles Customer Reviews

I recently had an issue where I ordered a part and needed the order corrected and canceled. Within 5 hours TJ the owner of TMF personally cancelled it and helped me tremendously and was super professional and polite and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Definitely giving two thumbs up and five stars and will definitely be doing business in the future with TMF!

No communication except to say he received my money after ordering. The website said up to 16 weeks for a chrome Thunderheader, so I decided to wait it out. 18 weeks later with no replies to my emails that he magically says he didn’t receive, I called my bank and canceled the order and got my money back. All of a sudden after I canceled my order, little TJ decided to email me and offer to hold one for me Friday when they finally arrive. I don’t trust TJ or TMF cycles for any future business. I’d rather spend my time and money elsewhere and I’d suggest you do the same, unless you have the patience of god or you don’t care about giving away money at all. There’s no business like minding your own business, this guy sucks. When he finally emailed me, he said I should’ve came by to check on my order because I’m close enough to him, if I wanted to do that I wouldn’t have ordered it online in the first place. Normally I like to support California businesses, especially when it comes to motorcycles, now I’ll tell everyone TMF isn’t on my list.

I feel I should've read reviews before ordering. I can't recommend online sales. Im sure TJ has a ton of knowledge and builds cool bikes, but taking over a month to put something in a box and ship it, is ridiculous, so is 2 weeks without communicating. If he's a one man show, maybe he should either get help or not advertise online sales on social media if it's such a hassle to deal with. I wish tmf the best and that it would've been a good experience. *If the clutch basket was there, then how's it take over a month to throw it in a box? Get it together. Wish you the best.

TMF went above and beyond in immediately sending out replacement stickers I ordered that USPS decided to fold in half. Within 24hrs the replacement was sent out. This was my first order with TMF and I will absolutely purchase again not only because of the products offered but because the customer service couldn’t be better.

Called TMF cycles for an exhaust. Spoke to TJ. Great customer service. He helped me pick out my new SPC exhaust and it arrived in less than a week. Will continue to purchase more parts from them.
