The Back Room Customer Reviews

Came here based on recommendations from the community. Spot on, folks! Quickly took care of our Toyota Corolla's bearings (300k+ mileage) plus alignment and tire rotation. Very prompt, communicative, and took care of a problem that was a real bugger for my husband after attempting the bearings. Great to have a local mechanic who can take care of bigger issues when needed. Thanks!

I have used this shop a few times in the past year for unexpected mechanical issues. They are always fast and professional. The work is done at a fair price and they don’t try to cheat you.

The Back Room offers great mechanics and even better customer service. I take all three of my cars for oil changes and repairs to The Back Room. Mark is honest and a straight-shooter. There was a time when he advised me to take my foreign car to the dealer because he wasn’t absolutely sure what was going on with it. How many mechanics do that? Can’t recommend The Back Room enough.

Mixed feelings about them, they did simple stuff like changing tires and spark plugs just fine. Took my car in for an engine light spitting an intake manifold sensor code. Needed a pretty cheap component of the part that they charged $400 to fix, went to pick the car up and the engine light was still on. He reset it and after driving about 30 miles it popped back up. Took it back and he said I needed the entire intake manifold for $1200. Went to a different mechanic, turns out they put the part I needed on backwards. New mechanic charged $250 to fix it. I will say this place gave me my money back but only after having to mention a lawyer and getting someone other than me involved. Originally I was told “you won’t get your money back unless I take all the parts back off your vehicle”
