I cannot express how wonderful it was to have a professional come out and assess our issues. They took so much time to get down to our problems and explain the whys and the hows! Great service! Very thorough and honest - things that are running in short supply these days!

Our fifth wheel unfortunately flooded enough to need repairs + an insurance claim. Austin at That RV Specialist is who we worked with. He was very thorough, knowledgeable, explained things well, and very good on time management! I couldn’t recommend them enough!

I had some recall work on my camper done and when they came out, we found that the slide hydraulic pump went out. They diagnosed the problem and we're able to get a new pump and install it along with the recall work. They kept me informed along the way and when they came to work on the camper. They were completely prepared and completed all of the work and cleaned up when they were done. I would recommend these guys for my rv repairs.

Just looking at review before me and said if they could give a 10 they would. Well if I could give something south of 1 I would. I have a place at lakeview cabins on the lake in New Concord Ky on Ky Lake. Good friends with the owners of Adventure Camper Sales in Murray Ky. In fact they are my neighbors at the lake. Awesome company and good friends. They have always done my work and winterized my place. So I had my hot water heater quit working and I called Casey at Adventure and she told me that they had lost some employees and recommended Austin with That RV Specialist. I called and he came out and assessed the problem and after discussing options I decided to have him replace with a tankless heater. Ran about 2 grand. Austin did an awesome job! The only thing I was a little confused about is that I thought he was going to put in a regular tankless hot water heater like you would put in your home. I had thought about and could do do about 1200. But no big deal, he put a unit that was designed for a RV which was fine. No big deal. And when he was there he did recommended a surge protector which I bought and my door on my camper sunroom was sticking and he drilled out the door and made it work perfectly! No charge! So this was all last season. At the end of the season that I installed the heater I called and had him winterize. Coincidentally my neighbor and 3 other neighbors asked me to recommend some one to winterize their campers as adventure tv sales were still experiencing staffing problems. Of course I recommended Austin. So he winterized several campers in our lake site. So this year we didn’t come out very much but when we did our hot water heater was not working. I own a business that builds sunrooms and we install hvac mini splits so I thought it might be a simple fix and had my hvac guy who’s very knowledgeable about hot water heaters look at it. Well, when he opened up there was water spraying over the whole control panel. He looked to see where it was coming from and there is a plug that when you winterize that was not tightened properly and water was spraying over the control panel. He tightened plug but the connections on control panel was corroded from the moisture. His assessment was that whoever winterized loosened to drain but did not tighten back. So in the spring when we turned on the water again it sprayed this constant spray over all the electrical connections. So I called The RV Specialist think they would take care of. Talked to Colby, Austin’s wife and she said she would get back with me. She did. Promptly! She informed me that they were backed up for 6 weeks and that I had a 1 year warranty on my hot water heater and before they would come out it would require a $150 service call since I was out of warranty. I explained that it had to do with the fact they messed up in winterizing. She got with Austin and called me back and said that the board was impervious to moisture and would not have corroded and unless I agreed to a $150 service call there was nothing they would do. And if I agreed it would be 6 weeks! Bottom line I don’t mind paying whatever I’m liable for! If they would have come out and said hey, the problem is this or that and we aren’t responsible you owe us this. I would gladly pay. But Austin would not even call me and Colby was totally rude. Very disappointed! So I read reviews and people are happy about theses quick repairs for out of town people. Apparently they have this mobile truck. But they could care less about locals. I guess! They will bend over backwards for someone passing from Arizona but us locals they are 6 weeks out! I guess if your from out of town it’s kinda one and done. You don’t have to worry about servicing!

Austin came out to service our two week old Brinkley at Piney Campground in Dover, TN. The bathroom door had fallen off in transit and the volt meter needed to be replaced. Austin was on time, polite, informative and professional! He explained to me what he was doing as I knew my hubby would want a play by play. He spoke to said hubby while he was en route and took the time to discuss advantages/disadvantages of various 5th wheel hitches. I appreciated Austin’s transparency and his work ethic.

We found out our newly-purchased used RV had drained house batteries and decided to upgrade to lithium batteries, which required a new converter. We contacted That RV Specialist. They gave us an estimate, got the parts in a day later, and three days after dropping it off, we were back in business. They are knowledgeable, skilled, and INCREDIBLY friendly. They have made permanent customers in us.
