After my paid-off silver 2013 Model S was totaled in a collision on December 2, I decided—especially while navigating a cancer journey—that it was time to finally buy my dream car: a beautiful black Model S P100D. Devastatingly, I was involved in a collision in that new car less than two months after purchasing it. When I arrived at your Tempe location, I was met with kindness, professionalism, and care. Very nice employees, especially the front desk! They got me into a loaner Model Y very quickly and answered all my questions—it was my first accident ever so I had zero clue about this process. Overall, they made my car being rear-ended a way better experience haha :)

I’m extremely unhappy with my experience at the Tesla Collision Center in Tempe. I expected better service, especially since I was dealing directly with Tesla. I own a 2023 Tesla Model Y, and after the repairs were completed, I noticed several damages to the car. I immediately reported them to the advisor (Jason Kendall), who scheduled another service appointment to review the damages. When I returned, I showed Jason the damages and it wasn’t just the damages that were a problem—when they replaced the lift gate, it seemed they didn’t use any protection on their feet, leaving footprints all over the trunk. On top of that, they didn’t even bother to clean the inside, leaving debris all over the trunk and rear seats ( as showed on pictures), also I had a warning on the screen telling me the cameras needed a software update and to schedule a service appointment. Since they replace the rear camera I figure that was the issue. Jason was unhelpful and refused to perform a camera software update (even though they replaced the rear backup camera), telling me I had to schedule another appointment with Tesla Service for that. His lack of professionalism and how the situation was being handled left me extremely mad and frustrated. After some back and forth, the manager got involved and manager was able to do the update the car’s camera software, fix the loose lift gate, and replace a damaged rear door trim. However, they refused to fix the damage on the front hood, claiming it was already there. When I asked for proof, they showed me a picture of the hood with a piece of tape, which they said that they marked potential pre-existing damages with tape. Even when zooming in on the photo, I couldn’t see any damage on the picture that they showed me. When I asked if they took a closer picture, they said no, because that’s not their process. I pointed out that the picture didn’t show any visible damage, but Jason didn’t respond. By this point, I was exhausted and fed up with the lack of care and accountability. It was clear to me that they didn’t care about my concerns or my car. I’m furious with how they handled the situation, from not providing proof of the supposed pre-existing damage to the careless, the messy way they returned my car without even cleaning the repaired areas. I will never return to this location, as they don’t treat customers or their cars with the respect they deserve.

I took my car in to get fixed, and the body work was great. However, my AC has not worked and the fan keeps running even on cool nights. I called with my concern, left a VM, and when nobody got back to me, I messaged them. Living in AZ with no AC is not an option. Now, I have to wait over a week with 100+ temperatures to take it to the Tesla dealer and pay for what should have been fixed!

I dont know who to blame at this time , Tempe Tesla collision or Tempe Tesla service . I have not had my car in a month between the service center refusing to fix my 2021 Tesla model 3 with under 30k miles after I got several alerts and had a blow out. I could not get my Tesla app to work to make an appnt because the app was frozen. When i did get it to Tesla Service center , they said that they did not want to touch my car because Tesla Collision had never totally fixed the car after a mild collision in June of 2024. I had to wait weeks after towing the car at insurence expense, to my house , then to the collision center until they had time to get me in. They Claimed I'd have an estimate January 22nd by end of day. I had not heard from the GM John till February 1st. I was told they sent am estimate to an old email. Their regional person Ashley claimed to have been in contact and gave John the updated information but got lost some where along the way. I have messages from my the original Collison that my alignment was off and they would get back to me... they never did . They said they wouldn't charge me for tire/wheel/alignment but never said it was an issue. They never gave the option to have it fixed. They just gave me the car back apparently only fixing the cosmetic ? The first Tesla member from the collision center argued with me and claimed they told me that I needed to get my alignment fixed after they fixed my car in summer of 2024... which they never did. Then I was told there was scuff marks on my rim and that I damaged the car by pot holes or a curb. That the Tesla is so weak that it can get destroyed by random pot holes and curbs ? Then I got informed by John that they havnt even determined what the issue is? That they won't know till they get a qualified technician out to see what's wrong ... yet I was told I got a quote ? I was told by John that Tesla Collison only does dents and cosmetic, which now explains why my car was never fixed in the first place. I just know that Tesla does not want to take responsibility and pay for having not fix my car in the first place , that it must have had poor alignment from pit holes and curbs . Iam extremely frustrated . John said he would get back to me no later than the 4th. If I don't get answers and continue to go without a vehicle , I will go to the next level. I will go to the attorney generals office , then media ...This is absolutely unreal. I have never had good experience at any Tesla business . Other then when I was sold the vehicle , I did not know after that what an absolute NIGHTMARE getting any type of service done!
