Tesla Collision Oceanside Customer Reviews

Disappointing Experience with Tesla Collision Center in Oceanside, CA I wish I could still consider myself a fan of Tesla, but after my recent experience, I’ve gone from owning and promoting two of their cars to seriously reconsidering my future with the brand. This review is specifically for the Tesla Collision Center in Oceanside, but I’m also deeply disappointed with Tesla Insurance and the Summons feature. My Tesla Model 3 was damaged after the Summons feature caused it to run into a bright yellow concrete base for a light pole in broad daylight. I used Tesla Insurance and chose the Tesla Collision Center for the repairs, expecting the process to be smooth given it was all within the Tesla ecosystem. I was wrong. Why I’ll Never Use the Tesla Collision Center Again: 1. Two months of waiting. My car was in their possession for over 2 months—a much longer wait than I anticipated. 2. Poor communication. It was incredibly difficult to get updates on my car. I often had to reach out multiple times and wait several days for a response. The lack of communication was frustrating, to say the least. 3. Damage during repairs. They damaged my car not once, but twice while it was in their care, which only extended the repair time. 4. Flat tire on pickup. The first time they called me to pick up the car, it had a flat tire. They had to keep it for another two days just to fix that. 5. Misaligned door and missing tire caps. When I finally got the car back, the driver’s door was misaligned, requiring extra force to close it properly. It rattles when driving. On top of that, the tire caps were missing from all four tires. 6. Strange noises and poor detailing. There’s a new fan noise coming from the bumper, and despite them claiming they sent the car to be detailed, it was still dirty when I picked it up. While the staff were generally friendly, it felt like the issues were more about poor management and being understaffed than the people themselves. Overall, this experience has left me questioning Tesla as a whole. From the faulty Summons feature to the subpar insurance and the mishandling at the collision center, I’m not sure I’ll be purchasing another Tesla in the future.

Allyn the estimator, the receptionist ladies in the front of the service center Veronica and Brianna were amazing in helping me get my Cybertruck repair squared away super quickly and smoothly. I drove 300+ miles from Las Vegas to Oceanside, CA since my local repair center was booked until late January next year. My vehicle was vandalized with a broken windshield and they had it replaced and serviced in under 24 hours of bringing the vehicle in. Thank you to this collision center team!

Never have I had some an enjoyable and professional experience as I did here. Art is phenomenal and heads a team that turns wrapping a vehicle into an art. The craftsmanship and detail is like nothing I have ever seen before. Now I understand why people drive to Oceanside from as far away as Wisconsin to get their Teslas wrapped here.

Unfortunately I drove through some white paint that had spilled on the road leading to Highway 5 on ramp and did not realize I did till the next morning because my Tesla is white. I chose the Collision Center to remove the splattered paint because they sounded like they knew what to do. My contact was Veronica who was friendly and nice and she seemed experienced. After they ordered the parts they needed for the job, it was completed in less than a day and it looked like nothing had happened. They buffed the entire car and it looked fantastic. Thanks to Veronica and Tesla Collision for doing such a great job. Their price estimate was fair as I was paying out of pocket and Im very pleased.

I regret to share that my recent experience with the Tesla collision center was far from satisfactory. After an unfortunate accident on Father’s Day weekend, I was met with unwelcoming and uncooperative service when I contacted the center for repairs. Veronica, the representative, promptly dismissed my concerns and informed me that they did not have the capacity to handle my car repair, which left me dumbfounded. It is noteworthy to mention that not only was there a lack of willingness to assist, but there was also an apparent lack of skilled technicians, leading me to question the center’s ability to handle complex repairs. Past interactions with the center, including a confusing interaction with a general manager, added to my disillusionment. In essence, the poor customer service and the center’s incapacity to deal with my vehicle’s repair needs have compelled me to seek service elsewhere, despite the inconvenience and added cost. My advice to anyone seeking repair services from this particular center is to tread with caution, or perhaps seek an alternative solution.” I’ve also forwarded the below letter to Tesla corporate office and am hoping I see action from this situation. I truly believe if my car was not able to be seen even for an estimate, they should not be excepting any cars at all. Now let’s move on to the letter for the corporate office: Tesla, Inc. 3500 Deer Creek Road Palo Alto, CA 94304 Subject: Complaint Regarding Collision Center Service Dear Tesla Corporate Office, I am writing to bring to your attention a serious concern I recently encountered at one of your collision centers. After an accident on [exact date], I called the center, hoping for efficient service and guidance. Unfortunately, my experience was far from it. Upon my call, a representative named Veronica handled my concerns dismissively and told me within seconds that they couldn’t accept my car for repairs due to lack of space and estimated a six-month repair delay. Furthermore, she informed me that the center lacked experienced technicians, adding to my concerns about the center’s ability to conduct quality repairs. I believe such a response was unprofessional and disheartening, especially given the stressful circumstances surrounding car accidents. It is concerning that a brand like Tesla, renowned for its innovation and quality, would allow such a level of service at its collision centers. Previously, about a year and a half ago, I had a confusing experience with a general manager at the same center, which also affected my trust in the center’s professionalism and service quality. As a long-term customer and a Tesla car owner, I expected a higher level of service. I am writing to you in the hope that you will address these concerns and take the necessary steps to improve the customer service at your collision centers. Thank you for your time and attention to this matter.

Do not take your car here if you expect accountability or basic care. I brought in my brand new (2-month-old) car after a rear-end accident. A week after getting it back, I noticed deep imprints on the backseat headrests — a part of the car I never use. It was clear something heavy had been left on the seat while it was folded down during the repair process. I immediately returned with timestamped photos from a month earlier showing the damage was not there. At first, they admitted the seat was probably folded. But when they realized the marks couldn’t be wiped off, their attitude flipped. Suddenly, they refused responsibility unless I had interior photos from the exact drop-off and pick-up days — an absurd and unrealistic expectation. One employee even said they wouldn’t “waste Elon’s money,” which I assume is their way of saying Tesla won’t pay to fix mistakes they caused. Bottom line: They damaged my car and refused to make it right. Take your car somewhere that values integrity and respects its customers.

Thank you to the receptionist who helped me with the rental — there was a problem getting a loaner, and she really did her best to help. Also thanks to Joanna, the estimator, for being professional and supportive. They tried to speed up my repair and stayed in touch through the app. Everything about the insurance was explained clearly. I appreciate their help! Not so happy with Tesla insurance communication style .. I

Kenny the manager and his senior tech fixed my car perfectly after an issue had after pick up. Everyone makes mistakes but how the manager handles at the end is the most important. He did a great job an understood how I felt and my car is perfect again thank u
