Terrible's Introduce

Terrible's, located at 1600 N M.L.K. Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89106, USA, functions as a convenience store and gas station. While it might be categorized under "Auto Repair Stations" on some platforms due to its provision of fuel and basic automotive-related goods, its primary operations revolve around retail sales and fuel dispensing rather than comprehensive vehicle repair services. The establishment serves local users as a point of access for everyday essentials, snacks, beverages, and fuel for their vehicles. No phone numbers were provided in the initial information for this specific Terrible's location.

As a facility listed within the broad "Auto Repair Stations" platform category, Terrible's offers goods for sale that typically include gasoline and diesel fuels, as well as a range of convenience store items such as drinks, snacks, tobacco products, and perhaps some basic automotive necessities like engine oil or windshield wiper fluid. While it doesn't offer complex car repairs, its role in providing essential fuel and minor automotive products links it to the broader automotive service sector. The emphasis here is on quick transactions and immediate consumer needs, rather than in-depth mechanical work.

The environment of Terrible's, as a typical convenience store and gas station, would feature a gas pump area outside for vehicle fueling, usually accessible 24/7 or during extended hours. The interior would consist of a retail space designed for customer self-service, with aisles stocked with various consumer goods, refrigerated sections for drinks, and checkout counters. Lighting would typically be bright, and the layout would prioritize quick navigation for customers. A restroom facility would also be available for customer use. The address on N M.L.K. Blvd indicates a presence in a commercial area, making it accessible to both local residents and transient traffic. However, specific details about the cleanliness or amenities of this particular location's interior are not provided in the given information. The customer reviews, however, shed light on the interactive environment at the checkout counter, describing it as a point of significant friction and negative experience for customers.

The services offered by Terrible's primarily revolve around retail convenience. These include:

  • Fuel Dispensing: Providing gasoline and diesel for vehicles.
  • Retail Sales: Selling a wide array of convenience store items such as snacks, beverages (including various drinks purchased by customers), tobacco products, and other household essentials.
  • Restroom Access: Providing facilities for customer use, though access might be controlled, as indicated by a customer needing to "begging the cashier for the bathroom key."

While these are standard services for a convenience store/gas station, the delivery of these services, particularly customer interaction, is a point of concern based on the provided feedback.

The features that distinguish Terrible's, based solely on the provided customer reviews, are unfortunately negative and highlight significant issues in customer service. A prominent feature appears to be a lack of professional and respectful customer interaction. One customer was severely "OFFENDED" by a cashier, Dandre, who questioned "if I am homeless" when asking for a bathroom key. This points to a disregard for basic customer dignity and an unprofessional attitude. Another review details a cashier (described as an African American man with short black hair and brown tips) who exhibited poor conflict resolution and a "power move" mentality. This cashier reportedly spoke "so badly to a customer due to her having to wait so long in line," and subsequently "decided not to serve her and check her out" because he "didn’t like the way she had an attitude." This demonstrates a refusal to provide service based on perceived customer demeanor, directly impacting the company's revenue and basic service delivery. The lack of basic courtesy, such as not providing a bag or a receipt for a purchase, further underscores a deficiency in fundamental customer service practices. These incidents suggest that while the physical store provides goods and services, the human element of the service delivery is a significant negative feature, potentially leading customers to seek alternatives "across the street."

Promotional information for Terrible's, based on the provided data, is severely impacted by the negative customer experiences. In a typical retail environment, promotional efforts would focus on convenience, competitive pricing, or loyalty programs. However, when customers report such deeply offensive and unprofessional encounters, the most significant "promotion" they receive is negative word-of-mouth. The reviews themselves serve as a stark warning to potential customers, detailing reasons to "STAY AWAY" and actively choosing to "go buy from the store across the street instead." This directly counteracts any potential positive promotional efforts. While there is no explicit information about marketing campaigns or special offers from Terrible's itself, the public-facing reviews unfortunately act as a powerful form of anti-promotion. In such cases, the business's immediate promotional priority would need to shift towards addressing and rectifying these service issues to restore trust and encourage positive customer experiences, which are ultimately the most effective form of promotion for any retail establishment.

Terrible's Customer Reviews

Why am I begging the cashier for the bathroom key, while Dandre questions me "if I am homeless "??? We as a people should do better in our own community. I have NEVER been so OFFENDED by someone who my money pays this salary...

I witness the Cashier speaking so badly to a customer due to her having to wait so long in line before he gave her service. And when she was trying to check out, he didn’t like the way she had an attitude with him about waiting in line so he decided not to serve her and check her out. He decided not to take her money when she was trying to just pay for items and leave, but he wanted to prove a Power move, and not take her money for the products she was trying to buy. She was loud but not irate. I’m sure the Company would not be very happy that they did not receive revenue that night because this particular cashier did not want to serve Terribles customer. he was an African American man with short black hair and it had brown color in the tips. He was awful to his customers. My daughter purchased her drink and he didn’t give her a bag or a receipt. We decided to go buy from the store across the street instead. He should be fired the way he handled the customers and the companies revenue.

I went in today and got a few items when it was time to pay I had to pay $15 with cents and I didn't have cents so I gave $20 but the cashier didn't give me my ticket nor my change. I waited but the cashier didn't even bother to give it instead he started gossiping with someone else. It was a man with short black hair on the top half and brown hair in the bottom half. He shouldn't be working there if he doesn't bother to care.
