Team Ford Collision Introduce

Located at 905 Brady Ave, Steubenville, OH 43952, USA, Team Ford Collision operates as a dedicated auto body repair facility, falling under the broader category of "Auto Repair Stations" but specializing specifically in collision and body work. As an integral part of the Team Automotive Group, this center aims to provide comprehensive repair solutions for vehicles involved in accidents, from minor cosmetic damage to major structural restoration.

The environment of Team Ford Collision, as a modern automotive body shop, is designed to facilitate complex repairs and ensure customer comfort. While direct visual information on the interior is not extensively detailed online, such facilities typically feature a clean and organized reception area for clients to discuss their vehicle's damage and repair needs. The workshop itself would be equipped with specialized tools and machinery necessary for collision repair, including frame straightening equipment, modern paint booths, and diagnostic tools to assess structural integrity. The Team Automotive Group has invested in its body shop facilities, with information suggesting expansions and renovations in 2019, including the installation of advanced paint booths. This indicates a commitment to utilizing contemporary technology and maintaining an efficient workspace. Furthermore, the use of environmentally responsible practices, such as water-based paints and recycling programs, suggests a modern and conscious approach to their operations. Customers generally expect a professional setting where their damaged vehicles can be assessed and repaired in a systematic manner, and a dealership-affiliated collision center typically upholds these standards.

The primary services offered by Team Ford Collision revolve around comprehensive auto body repair. This includes, but is not limited to, rectifying damage from collisions, such as dents, scratches, and structural compromises. Specific services would encompass frame straightening, panel replacement, paint matching and refinishing, bumper repair and replacement, and glass repair. As a Ford-affiliated collision center, they are likely to specialize in repairing Ford and Lincoln vehicles, using genuine OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) parts to ensure the integrity and fit of the repairs, though they would also service other makes and models. Their goal is to restore vehicles to their pre-accident condition, focusing on both aesthetics and structural safety. Additionally, collision centers often assist with insurance claims, providing estimates and working directly with insurance companies to streamline the repair process for customers. This often involves providing free estimates and guiding customers through the necessary paperwork. The emphasis on certified technicians, as is common with dealership body shops, suggests that their staff are trained to manufacturer standards, which is crucial for complex collision repairs.

The features of Team Ford Collision, based on available customer feedback, present a mixed picture. On the one hand, a modern facility with updated equipment and potentially environmentally friendly practices (like water-based paints) can be seen as a positive feature, indicating their capacity to handle complex repairs. Being part of the larger Team Ford dealership implies access to genuine parts and potentially a streamlined process for mechanical issues that might arise concurrently with collision damage. However, the provided customer reviews highlight significant concerns regarding the quality of work and timeliness of repairs. Repeated issues such as missed bent components (e.g., a bent arm), still-bent bumpers, and loose body panels upon pickup, even after multiple attempts at repair, suggest inconsistencies in quality control and thoroughness. The sentiment of staff being "bothered when you want it done right" points to potential customer service challenges in addressing deficiencies. Furthermore, delays in repair times, with a repair taking "3 weeks after being told 1," indicate issues with managing expectations and efficient workflow. These reviews underscore that while the facility may have the potential and resources, the execution of repairs and the overall customer experience can be inconsistent. The quality of repair is a critical feature for a collision center, and these specific reviews suggest areas where the center may fall short for some customers.

Regarding promotional information, specific details for Team Ford Collision are not widely advertised independently from the main Team Ford dealership. However, collision centers within dealership groups often participate in general dealership promotions or offer specific incentives for collision repair services. These might include free estimates, direct billing to insurance companies, or guarantees on their repair work. They may also leverage their affiliation with Ford to promote the use of genuine Ford parts for repairs. Dealerships often emphasize benefits such as certified technicians and adherence to manufacturer repair standards as part of their value proposition. For the most accurate and up-to-date promotional offers, such as specific discounts on repairs, complimentary services, or insurance claim assistance programs, local users in Steubenville are advised to contact Team Ford Collision directly. Their phone numbers are (740) 283-4131 and +1 740-283-4131. Direct communication would allow customers to inquire about current specials, the process for obtaining estimates, and details regarding their warranty or guarantee on repair work, especially given the concerns raised in some customer reviews regarding the quality of initial repairs.

Team Ford Collision Customer Reviews

Had truck in for repairs and they missed a arm being bent. Gave them another chance after it was hit again while parked only to go over to pick it up and bumper was still bent. When again to get it after it was supposed to be fixed for real this time and body panel was loose. Quality of work is horrible! Then they seem bothered when you want it done right. Not to mention the 3 weeks it took after being told 1.

Took my truck there to get body work done. They did well repairing the body damage and blending the paint. The issue came that when doing the repairs, they scratched other parts of my truck and they said they would schedule me to have the issue taken care of and they wrote me off, never did. Kept telling me they would get back to me and then they would never schedule me an appointment. I think their tactic was to push me off until I let it go instead of professionally handling the issue.

WARNING…The woman in charge of the collision dept initially was very nice…to get our business. As time progressed she became a totally different person, rude, disrespectful, demeaning and unable to provide a straight answer. We were told, that they have no staff and people have been waiting for their auto parts for MONTHS…for some “ 7 months.” Needless to say after waiting for almost a month, we pulled our vehicle and placed it somewhere else so it could be repaired.

They have the capability to be a great shop but the shop manager Sharron is holding it back poor coustomer relationships and is probably the most rude and disrespectful person I have had ever met, the bodywork was horrible and after they re did it it was still bad, didn't fix everything and what they did looks horrible, paint and body work.
