UPDATE NOV2024: What happened? They lied, on top of everything my original review stated, this was the lovely additional valuable lesson I learnt with this shop. I had taken over a month of diagnosing and working on several sections of the car to try to repair an AFR issue until I double checked work this shop in writing said they did, because no other system had perceivable issues I could find. They stated they cleaned my MAF, even though on inspection it was heavily coated in dirt. Once cleaned by Me the vehicle performance was immediately restored, which is a very strong indicator that had they actually cleaned it would have fixed the issue at their shop the very first day months ago. They will falsely put in writing that they did work, charge you for it, and shake your hand while smiling. ------------------ Either they have gotten lax with warranty work from Toyota, or they are incompetent. 1.5 hours (250+ dollars) to turn a lug nut a few rotations to replace. 2.5 hours (300+) dollars to complete a job which diy is done in 20 minutes with a screw driver. 3 hour (450++) to replace a part which takes roughly 30 minutes with only a socket wrench. I did not go back. Be wary if you contact them as they seem to be knowledgeable enough to get you to sign the work order. You can find a better shop that doesn't struggle to turn a 22mm socket twice and charge 2 hours of labor. You deserve better, and so do I.

I have known some of their mechanics and front office personnel for nearly 2 decades. They previously worked at another shop and came over to TE Motorsports years ago. I chose to follow these folks and became a customer of TE Motorsports... and have never regretted it. I have come to know everyone that works there and they are the best! Fair prices, great work, but most of all: trust. I don't ever expect them to over sell or burn me... because they never have. I flat out trust this shop. Whenever people say, "I don't who to trust!" I have NEVER EVER had that problem when it comes to my shop. My family and I use their service department on all our vehicles. I have never done a lift kit or offroad gear with these guys but if I ever did I would use them:)

I was searching for a shop that could repair my SnugTop camper shell and called TE Motorsports after reading some reviews. I called and they were very friendly and answered my questions, then set up an appointment. I arrived for my appointment and they were very professional and provided me a fair quote. My truck was taken into the shop immediately and the tech worked on it promptly. TE Motorsports not only made the repairs correctly but charged less than their office quoted at write-up. Nothing extra added, no upsells, just very honest people. If you want to see how a shop should do business, then this is the place to see. My first time here but not my last. Everyone was professional and working hard to get things done right the first time and treat customers as the should be treated, which is a lost art these days. This is the place for your trucks! So far, the best service garage I’ve found in the 35 years I’ve been in North County. I grew up in and around auto shops and have pretty high standards when it comes to trusting anyone to work on my vehicles, especially my diesel truck. The shop is big, clean, well- equipped and organized. Joe (service mgr) is a seasoned and knowledgeable straight shooter, and I have been most impressed with the staff I’ve dealt with. Wish I had found this shop years ago.

I was looking for a shell for a 2022 Honda Ridgeline. LEER seems to be the only manufacturer. I called the LEER warehouse in Murrieta CA and to my surprise, they weren't very helpful at all. My next call was to TE Motorsports in Escondido, CA. It should have been my first call. I talked to Jacqui and she was knowledgeable, friendly and answered all my questions and concerns. They made sure they had all the correct information to match my paint and gave me options for other things like headliner and surf racks. They did a great job on the install and the paint couldn't match any better. Great job TE Motorsports! I highly recommend them.
