Stiloski's Automotive Corporation Introduce

Stiloski's Automotive Corporation, located at 151 Wildey St, Tarrytown, NY 10591, USA, operates as a service provider within the "Auto Repair Stations" platform category. Based on available information, including customer reviews, their primary services appear to involve towing and potentially related automotive repair or holding services following incidents. For local users in Tarrytown and the surrounding areas, understanding the nature of such a service provider, particularly one that might be dispatched by authorities, is crucial.

Environment of Stiloski's Automotive Corporation

Based on the provided customer feedback, the description of the environment at Stiloski's Automotive Corporation is unfortunately negative, with one reviewer explicitly stating, "The shop matches the owner because this place is a dump." While specific details about the interior or exterior are not provided, this comment suggests a facility that may lack cleanliness, organization, or modern amenities typically associated with a professional auto repair station.

In general, an auto repair station, particularly one involved in towing and collision services, should ideally provide a secure and orderly environment for damaged vehicles. A reception area would be expected for customer interaction, and a workshop area for repairs, if conducted on-site. However, the review implies that the overall presentation and upkeep of the facility may not meet customer expectations for a professional automotive business.

Services Offered by Stiloski's Automotive Corporation

The core services of Stiloski's Automotive Corporation, as indicated by the customer reviews, revolve heavily around towing services, particularly in accident recovery scenarios. One reviewer mentions that "police called this company to come tow" their car after an accident. This suggests they hold contracts or are on rotation with local law enforcement for accident scene towing and vehicle recovery.

Beyond towing, the implication of storing a vehicle at their "shop" after an accident suggests they may offer:

  • Vehicle Storage: Holding damaged vehicles post-accident, either until insurance claims are processed or repairs are arranged.
  • Potential Auto Repair: While not explicitly detailed as a primary, advertised repair shop, the fact that a damaged car was brought to "the shop" might imply they also conduct some level of auto body or mechanical repairs. However, the customer's negative experience with further damage while in their possession raises questions about the scope and quality of any such repair services.
  • Roadside Assistance: As a towing company, they likely offer general roadside assistance beyond just accident recovery, such as jump starts, flat tire changes, or lockout services.

One review mentions being "not even authorized to tow me from this location," which is a significant point of concern. This indicates potential issues with their operational licenses or agreements for certain towing scenarios, which could lead to inconveniences and delays for customers.

Features of Stiloski's Automotive Corporation

Based on the provided feedback, the reported features of Stiloski's Automotive Corporation paint a concerning picture:

  • Association with Towing Services: Their primary feature appears to be their role in accident recovery towing, potentially through official channels (police dispatch).
  • Reported Lack of Accountability and Transparency: Customers allege a severe lack of accountability, with claims of additional damage to vehicles while in their possession, refusal to provide insurance information, and attempts to shift blame. The owner's response to a review, described as "doesn’t make much sense" and showing "no accountability, honest, or fair dealing," further reinforces this perception.
  • Poor Customer Service: Reviewers describe the staff and owner as "extremely rude and disgusting behavior," "dismissive and arrogant," and having an attitude where "they can't be bothered." Unreturned calls and a lack of follow-through are also cited.
  • Operational Miscommunications: Instances where customers are "strung along" and then told they cannot be towed from a specific location after waiting for hours point to significant operational inefficiencies or miscommunication.
  • Questionable Business Practices: Concerns are raised about potentially "sleazy people who seemed like they might've been trying to pull some sort of scam." Allegations of leveraging connections (e.g., owner's brother-in-law being chief of police) for impunity are also mentioned, although these are customer assumptions.
  • Unsatisfactory Facility Condition: The description of the place as a "dump" implies poor maintenance and a lack of professionalism in their physical environment.
Promotional Information

Given the overwhelmingly negative customer feedback, it is difficult to identify any positive promotional information or strategies that Stiloski's Automotive Corporation might employ to attract customers based solely on the provided data. Typically, businesses in the "Auto Repair Stations" category would promote:

  • Reliability and Quick Response Times for Towing: Essential for emergency services.
  • Quality of Repair Work: For any auto body or mechanical services.
  • Customer Service Excellence: Emphasizing professionalism, transparency, and care.
  • Competitive Pricing: For services rendered.
  • Certifications or Authorizations: Such as ASE certifications for mechanics, or official authorization for police-dispatched towing.

However, the provided reviews directly contradict many of these positive promotional aspects. Instead, the customer experiences highlight significant issues with communication, transparency, and professionalism. The phone numbers (914) 631-7878 and mobile phone +1 914-631-7878 are available for contact, but the reviews suggest potential challenges in receiving satisfactory service.

In conclusion, Stiloski's Automotive Corporation, located at 151 Wildey St, Tarrytown, NY, primarily appears to function as a towing and vehicle storage facility operating within the "Auto Repair Stations" framework. However, based on the objective information derived from recent customer reviews, prospective customers should be aware of significant concerns regarding service quality, communication, and overall customer experience.

Stiloski's Automotive Corporation Customer Reviews

AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS. I got into a car accident on the bronx river parkway, police called this company to come tow it on October 30th. My car only sustained damage to the front right side of the bumper, headlight and fender. I live an hour away and had some injuries so I made it to the shop on November 4th only to find my car in worse condition. They had no answers for me as to how my car incurred more damage even though I have pictures from the scene as well as when it was loaded on to the tow truck. They were asking me for MY insurance but refused to give me theirs and seemed to try and blame me for all of this. Extremely rude and disgusting behavior. The shop matches the owner because this place is a dump. Really sleazy people who seemed like they might've been trying to pull some sort of scam on me. I assume they think they can get away with whatever they want because someone else wrote a review saying the owners brother in law is chief of police. I also assume they have some sort of contract with the town. Still waiting to see if Geico will pursue this, if not I will be taking legal action. Edit*** Not entirely sure what the owner is trying to say with his response to my review, doesn’t make much sense. As you can see there is no accountability, honest, or fair dealing with this place. I have clear pictures to prove my claims and there is not a care in the world to resolve it nor proper response issued. They are making the case against themselves at this point.

Do not call these people. This is the second time I got strung along and wound up having to call somebody else. Today I sat for over 2 hours after they told me a half hour at first. Come to find out they're not even authorized to tow me from this location! Couldn't have just told me that up front?! Never again

Fortunate to find a professional, consistent and caring automotive business in the local community. Always top tier service, timely completion as promised and reasonable pricing. My family and I have gone to John when we needed him and he has always come through. We always look to support businesses that support the community. John the owner is that type of guy. Thanks!

Great company and great service, dealt with them many times and every time is more pleasurable than the previous time.. The owner is a true patriot and a class act… if you ever need body work done or a tow don’t hesitate to call, they made my car look brand new after a pretty bad accident. Very fair pricing and quality work

“Extremely rude customer service! My friend and I called to ask for information about a car, and the owner was incredibly disrespectful when speaking to us. It’s very concerning how they treat potential customers. I do not recommend this place at all!”
