Today 1/30/25 I HAVE to make my 1st review (Not a online guy but HAD to be done) I'm from the neighborhood and my mother in-law lives on the block of the Shop 144th Ave. Today Marcel pissed me off for the 2nd and last time. 1st time he changed my rotors and brakes (for a good price) I brought OEM parts to him. After work wheels started to squeak (no biggie) took it back TWICE! Marcel claimed it was the OEM brakes...took it else where (Queens Auto repair Merrick blvd 5mins away) on lift Dalton (Owner) said OH! No Grease cost me extra $100 to diagnose and get for lubrication that Marcel should of done. 2nd time Today I went to Marcel for emissions inspection after he cleared my check engine and I drove 145miles (2day) no light. So I go back for the test and he tells me it's $60 because he have to do it manually I've paid $37 since I've been driving (25yrs) and I've paid the same $37 with him for the last 5-6yrs. Only time I paid more is whn I knew the car wasn't gonna pass inspection 😏. He really tried to get me for a extra $23 when he owes me credit from the brake job. AGAIN took my car 5mins away Queens Auto repair Dalton scanned my car no problems I was in and out Emissions done in 25-30 mins for $37! Won't do Springfield Auto again that shit wasn't rite especially for a past customer that knows cars and works at the DMV. I'm good I could still walk to Queens Auto repair from mother in-laws if need be 🤷‍♂️

Was quoted a price of $560 for brake pads and rotors, and the owner wanted to add additional charges for more that he claimed was wrong with the car, I declined the additional services. When I came to pick up my car my final total was $720 up an additional $160 from the agreed upon and quoted price. He claims he had to add an additional part, but he never called to let me know. I feel I was taken advantage of and will never be returning to this place. Avoid this shop at all costs!

My WIFE came here to have a plastic fender cover fixed because it was rubbing and i was out of town. I had recently Changed the oil and filter less than a week ago and had forgotten to reset the indicator light on the dashboard. The owner by the name of Mercel took advantage of my WIFE'S lack of knowledge of a motor vehicle and swindle her out of $80 for a oil change she NEVER NEEDED! When I confronted Mercel he said "the oil filter was clogged and the oil was jet black!" This is the first and last! I Do Not recommend anyone coming here and expecting to get an honest mechanic to fix your vehicle! THEY ARE VERY DISHONEST AND SKEEVY!

June 23 I brought a 2007 Toyota Prius for 4500 cash From GERARD ALEXANDRE from Springfield Auto and Repair shop I asked GERARD ALEXANDRE was anything wrong with the car he told me NO!!! GERARD ALEXANDRE LIED 🤥 and told me it was 140,000 miles on it I asked GERARD ALEXANDRE IF he could watch over the car while I get it insurance he said yes I also Gave GERARD ALEXANDRE 390 dollars for my registration and plates that I never got until Yesterday NOVEMBER 21 2020 I had to get temporary registration and plates from my insurance company for 175 dollars to go pick the car up September 26th 2020 When I arrived at GERARD ALEXANDRE HOME THE passenger side mirror was completely GONE their was A weed Roach on the driver side slot I asked GERARD ALEXANDRE WHAT HAPPENED TO MY MIRROR HE TOLD ME SOMEONE STOLE IT and then started telling me about other cars that people stole parts off finally I get inside start the car was no gas ⛽️ so he went and got me enough gas ⛽️ to make it to the nearest gas station when we put gas inside I started the Car and when I mean EVERY LIGHT 💡 ON THE DASH BOARD WAS ON IT WAS LIT 🔥 I said Yo why is the ABS LIGHT 💡 ON all the lights are on I said something is wrong those lights are NOT SUPPOSED TO BE ON instead of GERARD ALEXANDRE taking the car back to SPRINGFIELD AUTO AND REPAIR SHOP WHERE I BROUGHT THE CAR FROM TO CHECK IT OUT he told me the car was good it just been sitting and need more gas so GERARD ALEXANDRE allowed me to drive back to WESTCHESTER with his daughter in the passenger side without that mirror Got all the way home Car NO good Saturday morning had a mechanic 👨🏽‍🔧 check it out he said the Hybrid battery 🔋 was No good it would coast 1500 dollars to get it not including labor I called texted GERARD ALEXANDRE HE NEVER 👎🏽 ANSWERED OR responded I told him I was extremely upset 😭 and definitely wasn’t happy 4500 dollars for 189,000 miles and a damaged Hybrid battery 🔋 Two days later I sent him a picture of what the mechanic 👨🏽‍🔧 said the issue was on October 6 2020 he had someone tow the car back to him NEVER HEARD ONE PEEP FROM HIM only through a three party I told GERARD ALEXANDRE I WANT ALL MY MONEY BACK INCLUDING THE 390 for registration and plates cause he never gave it to me until yesterday and he left it inside the car I was told again through a three party that the was at Toyota getting fix more lies He even had the workers lie for him and say the car was getting fixed and would be fix last week Saturday they said that November 11th that the car will be fixed definitely by November 14th car still there the man personally told me in my face car would be ready yesterday don’t have my car yet GERARD ALEXANDRE IS A SCAMMER LIAR 🤥 VERY RUDE AND SNEAKY THE WORKERS THERE ARE THE SAME BECAUSE THEIR LYING FOR AND WITH Him GOD DONT LIKE UGLY and he definitely don’t like when people steal and hurt good hearted ❤️ people so I WILL CONTINUE TO PRAY AND LEAVE EVERYTHING IN HIS HANDS 🙌🏽 🙏🏽🙏🏽 DEFINITELY WOULD NEVER SEND ANYONE THERE be careful people are greedy sneaky scammers and dishonest watch out for GERARD ALEXANDRE SPRINGFIELD AUTO AND REPAIR SHOP
