Snider Fleet Solutions Introduce
Located at 1260 Jan Way, Kingsport, TN 37660, USA, Snider Fleet Solutions serves as a prominent establishment within the Auto Repair Stations category. This facility aims to provide a comprehensive range of services and goods for sale to meet the diverse needs of vehicle owners, particularly those operating trucks and commercial vehicles. While specific details about the immediate environment of the Kingsport branch aren't extensively available online, Snider Fleet Solutions typically operates well-equipped facilities designed to handle various automotive maintenance and repair tasks. Their focus on fleet solutions suggests an environment geared towards efficiency and handling larger vehicles, implying spacious service bays and specialized equipment.
The core services offered by Snider Fleet Solutions generally encompass a broad spectrum of auto repair and maintenance. As an "Auto Repair Station," they are equipped to provide essential services such as oil changes, tire sales and services (including new tire installation and rotation), brake inspections and repairs, suspension work, and engine diagnostics. The name "Fleet Solutions" further indicates a specialization in catering to commercial fleets, which often involves more rigorous and frequent maintenance schedules, as well as the need for robust parts and reliable repairs. This specialization suggests they are proficient in dealing with the demands of vehicles that are critical to their owners' livelihoods, like the work truck mentioned in a customer review. Services likely extend to heavy-duty vehicle repair, alignments, preventative maintenance programs, and potentially even roadside assistance or mobile service for their fleet clients. While the provided information highlights a specific incident, the general service offerings of a facility in this category would typically aim to cover all aspects of vehicle upkeep from minor adjustments to significant repairs.
One of the key features of Snider Fleet Solutions, as implied by its category and common industry practices, would be their ability to provide a wide array of auto parts for sale. For an auto repair station, having parts readily available on-site or through quick access to suppliers is crucial for efficient service delivery. This would include common consumables like engine oil, filters, belts, hoses, and lubricants, as well as more specialized components such as brake pads, rotors, suspension parts, and vehicle-specific components for various makes and models. Their focus on commercial vehicles likely means they stock or can quickly source heavy-duty parts that meet the stringent requirements of fleet operations. Beyond parts for sale, the overall feature set of a reputable auto repair station includes experienced mechanics, diagnostic tools, and a commitment to getting vehicles back on the road safely and efficiently. The availability of multiple service bays and trained technicians capable of addressing complex issues would also be a standard feature. They are likely equipped to handle everything from routine fluid checks to more intricate mechanical work.
Promotional information for Snider Fleet Solutions isn't explicitly detailed in the provided text, but a typical auto repair station, especially one catering to fleets, would likely offer various promotional strategies. These could include discounts for fleet customers, loyalty programs, seasonal maintenance specials (e.g., winter tire change deals, summer AC checks), or package deals for common services like oil changes and tire rotations. Given their focus, they might also promote their expertise in specific areas, such as DOT inspections for commercial vehicles or custom solutions for unique fleet requirements. Marketing efforts might also highlight their trained technicians, state-of-the-art equipment, or quick turnaround times, all aimed at attracting and retaining both individual and commercial clients. Businesses in this sector often emphasize reliability, trust, and the long-term value of proper vehicle maintenance in their promotional messaging.
However, it's essential to consider customer experiences when evaluating any service provider. One detailed review highlights a significant negative experience related to an oil change and subsequent customer service. The customer brought their truck in for several services, including an oil change. They later discovered the engine oil was overfilled by at least a quart, a discrepancy confirmed by a mechanic at the facility. This issue led to a dispute over a refund for the oil change. The customer reported feeling dismissed and insulted by the desk staff when requesting a refund, particularly regarding the claim that an overfilled quart of oil could not damage the vehicle. The interaction escalated, with the customer being offered a refund only if they agreed not to return, ultimately leading to a strong recommendation to avoid the facility. This experience underscores the importance of attention to detail in service and responsive, empathetic customer service, especially when mistakes occur. On the other hand, another brief review states that a work truck was serviced the same day without an appointment at a fair price, indicating that positive experiences also occur at this location. This contrast suggests that while the facility can deliver on service and pricing, consistency in all aspects of customer interaction and service quality might be an area for improvement. For local users, weighing both positive and negative feedback is crucial in making an informed decision about Snider Fleet Solutions.

Snider Fleet Solutions Customer Reviews
Brought my truck in the first 2 times to get my radiator hose fixed, a couple of new tires, oil change, and they claimed I needed a new pitney arm and wheel bearing. I spent about 2k between the 2 trips. Well one day not too long after, I noticed my truck would start making a sound about 45 minutes into driving. My first instinct was to do all the basic checks so I checked my engine oil level. Boy was I surprised when I noticed the dip stick showed over the clearly marked "operating range" full line by what appeared to be 1 quart to a 1 1/2 quart. Making sure I wasn't just doing something incorrectly, I brought it back to them, parked in a level spot, and let it cool down. I then approached a mechanic and asked that he go check the oil level in the truck to make sure I wasn't crazy, as I believed it was over. He asked me when I got my oil change last and I explained I had gotten it there not too long ago. He went to check it himself and admitted it was over by at least a quart. He then started in on the "oh this oil is too clean I think you're gas might be mixing with it, then the "oh this could be wrong or that could be wrong" schtick to poison the liability well etc, etc. Keep in mind I just had this engine rebuilt last year for 6k and I get my oil changed on time every time and I check my oil constantly to ensure I keep rolling because this is my livelihood and I simply cannot survive without my truck. If there was an issue with gas mixing in with the oil, I would have noticed it by now and if it was a spontaneously new issue, my oil level would be back over the full line AFTER this correction as I drive hundreds of miles a week (spoiler, it wasn't). So I watch them drain the oil back to the full mark, and of course they admit it was over by more than a quart. I go inside, not too happy but calm at the time, and I say "I think it's only fair that i get a refund on that oil change". I explained this could have been a very different conversation if something would have happened to that engine. This is where the guy at the desk could have saved face and simply apologized for any possible mistakes, owned up to them, and moved on. I was asking for a $70 refund on my most recent $1.4k bill. I had taken time out of my busy day to come spend 2 hours dealing with an issue they caused. I paid his mechanics for their time, now I wanted compensated for my time at the very least. What does the guy do? Does he apologize for the situation? No he does not. He shuffles some papers around, looks at me condescendingly with an obvious "I know it all" ego, knowing I've never worked on vehicles as I told him that previously, and he says "look, a quart over in your oil can't damage your vehicle, how long have you been working on trucks?". I was furious at this point. Regardless of any theories he had, driving in a commercial setting, hundred of miles a week with extra oil putting pressure on everything definitely could not be good for my engine. I'm pretty sure the manufacturer put that mark on the stick for a reason. The guy resists the refund at first but eventually agrees to refund my oil change only if I never return. What a great business attitude! I told him, don't worry, I don't want to get my truck worked on at a place that can't do an oil change properly. I admittedly was not too friendly after this point and said some things that I'm not too proud of, but this whole negative interaction would have never escalated if he had showed the smallest iota of compassion and just gave me the refund without insulting my intelligence. In fact, I probably would have been back if he had any people skills whatsoever. I understand mistakes happen and I was willing to forget and forgive if they'd just do the right thing. We are all human afterall and I am not perfect myself. I have 2 trucks that require annual maintenance and they would have continued to receive my business. Definitely not now. I highly recommend you stay far away from this place.
