BEWARE!! I’ve been here a few times without issue but today was absolutely terrible. Brought our older Lexus in for a quick Check. Comes out and tells me I have an issue with a hose and it won’t pass. I’m thinking ok I’ll get it fixed and come back when he tells me he can fix it. Ok, what’s that going to cost? $5 piece of hose plus’s labor. Ok, what’s that going to be? It’s going to be half an hour labor he says. Ok, how much is that? Well our labor is $135 an hour. So $75 to repair a hose I reply. I was short on time so I said no I’ll just fix it. He says if you leave now I’ll have to charge you full price again but if I fix it now I won’t charge you. I said no I’ve got to go and he reply’s it’ll just take a second are you sure. So this guy is going to charge me $75 on top of the $60 to replace a $5 hose that takes just a second? As soon as I got back in town I took it straight down to a great place on Las Haciendas St. in Temecula for $50 and had it tested. They didn’t even bring up the hose just replaced it. I brought it up to them when I was done in 10 min. I might add, and they said yeah it’s not a big deal it was a little quarter piece of hose. I gave them a $40 tip. I have no problem with businesses making money but gouging people is absolutely ridiculous. I’m 100% positive these people have done this to more unsuspecting people than I can imagine. If you’re going to get a smog do yourself a favor and look at the ratings and reviews. They’ve lost mine and anyone I knows business forever.

Was told I needed to change a few parts on my truck that weren't stock. Or get a sticker from manufacturer. For waste gate and cold air intake on my no California 7.3 diesel .and switch out the turbo. For stock.. so I switched out turbo . Put a new waste gate on there and got sticker for my intake. Bring the truck back and told I still have a af5ermarket waste gate. Mind you this is a part that they could not even tell me what it was called. ! Front office guy had to draw it . To explain it. . But because the waste gate actuator was new and shiny they told me it was aftermarket. What a waste of time . But they had no problem taking my$ 500 registration fee. But I still have. No sticker it's ridiculous that California implements these outrageous rules all in name of profit.

Smog stop made my life easy. Stopped in for what I thought would be a quick smog check, turned out I needed a leaking vent hose replaced to pass. They went out of their way to find the correct part, install it, pass smog, and register my vehicle all in the same building. Thanks for getting me sorted guys!

Very quick and easy service. My SUV was a bit more, $60 out the door. The owner was friendly and nice to talk to while I waited. This was super close to French Valley area. I have to come back for my wife's car. Thanks to good ol Cali requiring smog checks on new vehicles.....

This is really a bad place to go for any services. This is the 2nd time I went for a simple smog check. 2 years ago they charged my $20 to take off the engine cover of my Porsche . Today I was there again and thought I am giving it a 2nd chance and I took of the engine cover myself. Now they asked me to take of twhe main engine cover since they claimed they don’t have a suitable screwdriver. They said they would take of the engine cover if they charge me. I asked them if I can have the screw driver to take off the 4 screws and they said now they don’t have a screwdriver. Black run low life garage very unfriendly

Have no problems with the shop they are geat with the service and work with you if there is a problem and they don't try to rape you with a big bill like the dealer ship did.
