Simple Truck ELD Introduce

Simple Truck ELD, located at 3701 W Algonquin Rd #860, Rolling Meadows, IL 60008, USA, presents itself within the platform category of Auto Repair Stations. This classification typically suggests a business that offers a range of services related to vehicle maintenance, diagnostics, and the sale of automotive parts. For local users in the Rolling Meadows area and beyond, understanding what Simple Truck ELD offers, based on available information, is key.

The business can be reached via phone at (847) 305-4030 or mobile at +1 847-305-4030. These contact points are crucial for individuals looking to inquire about specific products or services, schedule appointments, or address any concerns they might have.

As an “Auto Repair Station,” Simple Truck ELD would typically be expected to provide not just parts, but also the expertise to install them, diagnose issues, and perform various vehicle repairs. Given the name “Simple Truck ELD,” it’s reasonable to infer a specialization in products and services related to Electronic Logging Devices (ELDs) for trucks, and likely other truck-specific parts and accessories. ELDs are essential for commercial vehicle operators to comply with regulations regarding hours of service, so a business specializing in these devices would cater to a significant segment of the trucking industry. This would include the sale of ELD units, installation services, troubleshooting, and potentially ongoing technical support for their operation.

For local users, the convenience of having a specialized auto parts store and repair station nearby can be a significant advantage. It can mean quicker access to necessary parts, reduced downtime for commercial vehicles, and access to specialized knowledge that might not be available at a general automotive repair shop. The focus on “truck” in the name further suggests that the inventory and expertise would lean towards heavy-duty vehicles, commercial trucks, and possibly fleet services, rather than standard passenger cars.

Regarding the environment of Simple Truck ELD, without direct observational data, one can only infer based on its classification as an auto parts store and repair station. Such establishments typically feature a service bay area for vehicle work, a retail counter for sales, and potentially a waiting area for customers. The accessibility of its location at 3701 W Algonquin Rd #860 in Rolling Meadows would be a consideration for customers, especially those operating large trucks, in terms of ease of access and maneuverability.

The services offered would likely extend beyond just selling ELDs. For an “Auto Repair Station” specializing in trucks, potential services could include:

  • Installation and calibration of ELD units.
  • Diagnostic services for truck electrical systems and engine performance.
  • Sale of truck-specific parts, which might encompass anything from engine components and brake systems to lighting and accessories.
  • Basic maintenance services such as oil changes, filter replacements, and tire services for trucks.
  • Troubleshooting and repair of issues related to ELD functionality.

Regarding features, a key aspect for any auto parts store, particularly one focused on specialized equipment like ELDs, is the technical knowledge of its staff. Customers would expect the staff to be well-versed in the products they sell and the regulations governing ELDs. Additionally, a strong inventory of relevant parts and a reliable supply chain would be crucial to minimize customer waiting times.

However, it is important to present an objective view, taking into account publicly available customer reviews. Some reviews suggest significant challenges faced by customers and former employees. One customer review indicates issues with the ELD service itself, specifically regarding its functionality for personal conveyance, and difficulties with the refund process after returning the product. This customer described the experience as a "real pain" and was in the process of disputing a charge on their credit card.

A more extensive review from a former employee details severe internal issues. This review claims that the company prioritized sales over development, leading to a "terrible product that doesn't work." It also alleges that staff were "overworked and underpaid," and that there were significant problems with internal finances, including late paychecks. A particularly concerning anecdote shared by the former employee describes the boss's wife, who allegedly handles internal finances, laughing at an employee who needed their paycheck on time for bills and rent. Furthermore, this review claims that the company cancelled an employee's insurance without notification after they left and attempted to short their final paycheck due to incorrect calculations. The reviewer strongly advises to "avoid at all costs," stating that the company "has no idea how to run a business and it is affecting their employees and their customers."

These reviews paint a picture of operational and customer service challenges that prospective customers should consider. While an auto parts store aims to provide necessary products and services, customer satisfaction and reliable operations are paramount. Promotional information, if available, would typically highlight competitive pricing, quality of parts, technical expertise, and efficient service. However, based on the provided reviews, any promotional claims would need to be weighed against these customer experiences.

In summary, Simple Truck ELD operates as an Auto Repair Station specializing in ELD devices and likely other truck-related parts and services. Its location in Rolling Meadows offers a local option for truck operators. However, potential customers are advised to consider the detailed customer and employee feedback available, which suggests significant issues with product functionality, customer service, and internal business practices. This information is critical for making an informed decision about utilizing the services of Simple Truck ELD.

Simple Truck ELD Customer Reviews

I tried this service but they were unable to make it work for me. I was unable to use it for personal conveyance without it putting me on duty. They told me to send it back but they only refunded part of my money. I'm in the process of disputing the charge on my credit card and it's a real pain!

Terrible company. Spent a year trying to bolster sales instead of working on development, now they have a terrible product that doesn't work. Staff is overworked and underpaid. Boss's wife runs internal finances, checks are frequently late going out. She once tried to give out a paycheck and told not to cash it for a few days; when employee told her they needed it on the correct date because they had bills and rent to pay, she laughed at them. When the employee left the company, they cancelled the employee's insurance without telling the employee and tried to short the final paycheck because their accountant's calculations were incorrect and they insisted the calculations were correct. This company has no idea how to run a business and it is affecting their employees and their customers. Avoid at all costs.

Do NOT do business with these people. They are incompetent and do not know anything about the trucking industry. On top of that they are rude and unprofessional.
