San Jose Generator & Starter

Brought my alternator to get rebuilt. They tested it and inspected it. Turns out the internal regulator only failed. I asked them if they could swap from multi-rib pulley to v- belt style. They had the pulley but could not install due to fitment issues with the locking nut. They told me to bring the pulley to a machine shop. Which I found down the street from them. Machine shop milled the pulley for me. I headed back to the alternator shop. Deionn, helped me out. Installed the pulley for me. My alternator is working. Gonna bring another alternator for them to check out. Would recommend them to anyone who needs work done. Fair pricing also.

Had starter for my truck rebuilt here, the turnaround was a few hours, they did an outstanding job. Price for the starter new $460, cost of rebuild less than half of that. I highly recommend this business.

I brought my alternator/generator from my 1964 ford van here. They rebuilt it in a little over a day and the product liked sharp. Thanks guys. They took time to take care with the bolts and wires that it had so everything came back as I gave it to them but in original oem condition. They knew the part better than I did.

Dropped off a 1957 Chevy truck manual solenoid starter at 8:00 AM Monday and picked it up at 4:00 PM the same day. They had to replace just about everything inside including the armature on this 60 year old starter. They even had a replacement for the ancient push button solenoid!! Highly recommend for alternators, generators and starter rebuild and testing.
