I grew up in this area and have always known many people who bring their cars here for excellent service, including my family and friends' families (for three generations). The team here is knowledgeable, professional, friendly, and above all, honest. A few months back, my car broke down while I was out of state. After receiving the run-around from my dealership and another mechanic, neither of whom could diagnose the issue, I took my car to Salerno's as soon as I could. They identified the problem within an hour and charged me a very fair price. I’m not sure if this has been highlighted in other reviews, but this shop also engages in generous acts of charity for the community, such as donating toys and goods to childcare centers, senior homes, food pantries, and schools. Their commitment to giving back is truly commendable, and I will always recommend them!!

My car was hit by a forklift and I immediately thought of taking my car to Salerno's. They are the neighborhood’s most reliable, dedicated and responsible mechanics and body shop professionals that I have known for over 15 years. Salerno kept in contact with me throughout my cars repairs. After several days my car was repaired beautifully and detailed my car inside and out. I swear it looked brand new, right out the box. I highly recommend these guys 100%. Salerno’s take pride in what they do and it shows through their work and dedication in providing their customers the best. Thank you for all you do.

I never leave reviews, but Salerno Auto Body warrants an exception. My new car had a break-in with major damage to 2 panels, and they towed it within an hour on a Sunday, reached out frequently with updates, dealt with my insurance company 100%, did the repairs perfectly and quickly, detailed the interior, and threw in a free side mirror just because they ordered the part for someone else who didn’t end up coming in for it. (Mine was knocked off in a separate hit-and-run, and I’d been quoted $800 for the repair by another shop previously.) Makes me almost glad to have gotten robbed, because finding a mechanic and body shop this good is priceless.

Salerno are the real deal. I drive from Queens to have my van serviced here. Recently needed some help with a coolant leak. I arrived without an appointment and within 20 min they had diagnosed the issue and gave me a quote on a new water pump. Super fair prices, job done same day. you will not find a better place to get your auto serviced

The only auto body shop I ever go to. The guys are exceedingly friendly, kind, and helpful. Always! I even drive a little bit out of my way to get gas here instead of anywhere else. I’ll happily support Salerno’s for as long as I live in Brooklyn.

Just sharing my gratitude and appreciation to you Sal, your brother Derek and your amazing Staff. The repairs to my Nissan Altima were outstanding. [OVER THE TOP] We communicated throughout the repair process. The repairs were done in a timely matter and I was on my way back home in little under two weeks. Upon picking up my vehicle from Derek i passed right by my parked car. Meaning I didn’t even recognize my vehicle due to the Excellent work that was done. My Vehicle looked like it came off the dealership showroom floor. Brought tears to my eyes because of the care that was applied. Detailed interior/exterior engine and all. You have a forever customer when I am here in Ny and anyone that I can recommend (and did) I will with honors! Thank you for loving your Skill/Craft so much. It definitely shows in your work!! Salernos is the absolute best. Fixed my car beautifully and dealt with insurance for me. They were even able to get my deductible down to nothing. The car even came back detailed. I wouldn’t take my car to anyone else again!!
