Rowe Auburn Service Introduce

Rowe Auburn Service, situated at 699 Center St in Auburn, Maine, operates within the Auto Repair Stations category, offering a range of services and potentially goods related to vehicle maintenance and repair. While aiming to serve the local community with their automotive needs, it's essential for prospective customers to consider recent feedback regarding their service quality and customer experience. This introduction aims to provide an objective overview based on available online reviews to help local users make informed decisions about their auto repair needs.

Based on recent customer experiences, it appears that Rowe Auburn Service has faced challenges in providing consistent and satisfactory service. One detailed review describes a complex situation involving electrical issues, a loaner vehicle accident, and prolonged delays in receiving the original vehicle back. The customer reported difficulties in communication, discrepancies regarding the loaner vehicle agreement, and concerns about the focus of the diagnostic and repair work performed. Specifically, the review mentions that despite the initial request to address electrical problems, the service focused on other areas like brakes and drivetrain. Ultimately, the electrical issues, including problems with lights and the heater, were allegedly not resolved after multiple attempts and a significant amount of time. The reviewer also highlighted issues with the phone system, stating that calls often disconnect before a message can be left, further hindering communication.

Another customer review echoes concerns about the quality of service and communication. This feedback suggests that the service department may not always address the specific issues presented and that customers might experience further problems after the service. The review also mentions a tendency to blame the customer for damage allegedly caused by the service department and highlights potential delays in service completion, particularly for appointments beyond routine oil changes.

Given this feedback, it is challenging to provide a detailed description of the environment or specific features that typically accompany positive reviews. Aspects such as a welcoming waiting area, clear service bays, or efficient customer interaction are not highlighted in the available testimonials. Instead, the emphasis is on the difficulties encountered during the service process.

In terms of services, Rowe Auburn Service likely offers a range of common auto repair and maintenance options. Based on the negative reviews, these may include:

  • Electrical system diagnosis and repair (though the effectiveness of this service is questioned in the reviews).
  • Brake service and repair.
  • Drivetrain maintenance and repair.
  • Heater repair.
  • Potentially oil changes and other routine maintenance.

However, the customer experiences suggest that the execution and effectiveness of these services may vary significantly.

Rowe Auburn Service Customer Reviews

Sent my car in because anything and everything electrical was quoting on me id fix one thing and another would go bad. Sent it in too have them find out what's causing all this havoc with my electrical system. They hady car for a week before I got a loaner, I then got into an accident on their loaner in a snow storm and they refused to do any work on my car until the towing company returned their loaner, which they now all of a sudden called a rental leaving my insurance to foot the bill instead of theirs. After a couple more weeks fighting with insurance companies and the towing service they finally got their "rental, back and eventually got my car in to be looked at. They told me about my brakes being about shot and and a couple other think in the drive train you would expect to be going bad on a car creeping up on 100k miles, why they spent time looking at that stuff to find out why my electrical is crapping out... Idk. They changed the blower motor and pig tail and called it done and claimed everything was working as it should. I picked it up during the day and that night I turned my lights on and guess what.. still had both fog lights, out and no tail or brake lights at all on driver's side. After leaving it beside the road with my Hazzard. On for about a half hour while I cleaned out my drive way, the battery was completely dead and wouldn't even take a charge... Also my heater they just "fixed" only blew at your face no matter what you had it set on. It went right back down to fixed again and over 2 MONTHS later they still have it. Messing around with the heater box, they still haven't looked for a bad ground or a short. In the wiring, which is what I asked them to do in the first place, or have a clue what's wrong with it, and as other have stated in review it you can't get them to talk to you. Their answering even hangs up the call right after it says to leave a message which I have complained about several times over the past 6 weeks or so but that's not fixed either. So that should tell you how much they care about hear what their customers have to say. I am happy to say however, that my parents have bought several cars from Rowe.... After this ordeal, Dad went and bought a brand new truck from Charlie's. 😂

The absolute worse service. Always have a problem and they never fix what you tell them needs fixing. Communication is awful and they tru to blame the customer for the damage their service department causes. If you make an appt for anything beyond a quick oil change, be prepared to not have a vehicle to drive for a day or 2.

My car has been there almost a week for a brake job.. it's been challenging to get updated on the status of the work. Parts weren't ordered ahead of time despite being asked to do so. I was there two months ago and had the rotors in the front replaced due to a "hotspot" and was told the back was fine. Still felt pulsation when breaking so I called for the rear to be done. When I scheduled the appointment I requested the parts for the rear be ordered pads and rotors and was told that was done and would be ready. The day before the appointment I called to confirm because I had received a text to reschedule into September for no reason. I was told no parts were ordered and I would be waiting na few days for them to arrive after my scheduled appointment. I arrived for my appointment and dropped off my my car. I was kindly provided a loaner however it's still been far too long for a brake job. I spoke with the advisor the next day which was a Friday end of day and they informed me that the front brakes were ordered not the back ( I spoke with parts on the phone directly and asked for rear pads and rotors and they confirmed). I asked if the fronts were in need of changing and on that day I was told the tech said they were fine. Monday after the weekend I get a text saying it's the front and rear so a full brake job. I was advised just the front rotors needed replacement due to a hotspot two months prior. So I asked about having the front rotors covered. It's now Tuesday at 4 and I haven't heard anything back about my car. I was also told my rear tires are cupping from an alignment issue and the last people to align the vehicle was rowe auburn. This is not how you service people's vehicles or respect their time. I'm very upset that this is how it has been to just have my brakes serviced and wheels balanced.

I had to get a state inspection done for September. I called on 12 Sept, nothing available til 7 October. Went to the Quicklane and spoke with Tricia and Shannon. They looked on the computer and ask if I can be in at 730 am the next day. Well, to make a long story short...because of Tricia and Shannon doing what they did for me, I got my state inspection taken care of, and awesome customer service made the difference. They know what customer service is all about. Thanks Tricia and Shannon. 5+ stars!
