When l brought my Equinox in l thought for sure the exhaust system had something seriously wrong with it and the repairs would be expensive. Turns out the heat shield had stones in it and a loose piece of metal was the cause of the rattle. The service woman was very congenial and kept me informed while l was waiting. The bill was the most inexpensive l have ever experienced and l left very relieved and happy. Thank you Romeo Chevrolet

I had a pleasant visit to Romeo Chevrolet for oil & filter change. The service advisor Krystal Padilla was very helpful making sure that I was satisfied with the services performed and she setup "My Rewards" resulting in a discount using my points. Sales Consultant Vincent Pedone explained features on my C8 Corvette that I didn't know about. I now have a better understanding of driver controls resulting in a more enjoyable driving experience.

I had a weeklong bad experience with the service side which I will not get into. This is more of a public service announcement. I was charged $24.99 just to use my credit card without warning. I searched ny.gov consumer protection to see if it was legal. It states that businesses that "choose" to charge this fee have strict rules in doing so. It must be clearly in conspicuously stated the amount you will be charged with cash in the amount if you use a credit card. They cannot just post a note near the point of sale that there is a fee. When I went back and spoke to someone at the desk he was very condescending and he said "what do you want me to do about it? How can I give you a refund if it's the law?"Apparently what he did not understand is that it's not a law to charge a fee it's a choice made by the business and also that I wasn't informed before they ran my card which is what the actual law states. He got the manager, Mr. Green who pointed out to me a small sticker on the countertop that states that they charge a fee to use a credit card. I told him that according to the law you cannot do that. It has to be clearly stated on the bill the amount that is being charged if using a credit card. He asked if I looked up business code 518. He gave me a $25 refund and said it was a one time thing. When I got home I looked up business code 518 and it clearly states everything that they were doing is illegal pertaining to this credit card fee. I was assuming that the manager must know exactly what the law was or he would not have been so condescending to me. Their corporate lawyer, Lucia called me and she was incredibly polite and agreed that they were not following the law and she would make sure that they corrected the issue. I never received a follow up from the manager. I am attaching business code 518 and I'm hoping that no one else gets blindsided. My family has always been loyal customers of Whitemans and I'm not sure we will be continuing with Romeo. I previously gave a five star review three years ago and it says the response is from the Romeo owner which is deceiving because it was to Whitemans. I believe Romeo took over just a couple of months ago. I am also attaching my previous review to prove how loyal I was to Whitemans.

Kameryn was very kind and welcomed me with a smile. She reassured me that if I needed anything, just let her know.
