Roberto's Tires Introduce

Roberto's Tires, situated at 1017 W Imperial Hwy, Los Angeles, CA 90044, USA, operates within the "Auto Repair Stations" platform category, with a primary focus on tire sales and services. While no phone numbers were provided in the initial information, it can be inferred that as a local business, they serve the community with direct, in-person assistance for their automotive tire needs. This establishment aims to be a go-to spot for drivers seeking tire solutions and general automotive support in the Los Angeles area.

Environment and Location:

Located on West Imperial Highway, Roberto's Tires is positioned along a thoroughfare in Los Angeles, indicating a potentially high-traffic area. As a tire shop, the physical environment would typically feature several service bays equipped for tire mounting, balancing, and repairs. The facility would likely have an inventory of new and used tires displayed for customers, ranging in size and brand. There would also be space for tire changing equipment, air compressors, and possibly a small waiting area. The overall aesthetic of a tire shop often prioritizes functionality and efficiency to handle a steady flow of vehicles. Given its address, it serves the surrounding neighborhoods in Los Angeles, CA 90044, providing convenient access for local residents and those commuting through the area.

Services and Goods for Sale:

Roberto's Tires, as an auto parts store specializing in tires and operating within the "Auto Repair Stations" category, provides a range of goods and services focused on vehicle wheels and tires. These typically include:

  • New Tire Sales: Offering a selection of new tires from various brands to meet different vehicle specifications, performance needs, and budget requirements.
  • Used Tire Sales: A significant aspect of their service, as highlighted by a customer review, is the provision of used tires. This option can be a cost-effective solution for drivers needing a replacement.
  • Tire Installation and Mounting: Professional installation of purchased tires, ensuring they are correctly mounted onto the wheel rims.
  • Tire Balancing: This service ensures the even distribution of weight around the tire and wheel assembly, crucial for a smooth ride and preventing premature tire wear.
  • Tire Repair: Addressing punctures or minor damage to tires to extend their lifespan, when feasible and safe.
  • Tire Rotation: Rotating tires periodically to ensure even wear across all four tires, prolonging their lifespan.
  • Wheel Services: While the primary focus is on tires, a "Tire & Wheel" shop might also offer basic wheel services, though specific details beyond tire focus are not available.

While the provided reviews mainly focus on tire services, the inclusion of "Auto Repair Stations" as a platform category might imply they also offer some basic general automotive services, though this is not explicitly confirmed by the customer feedback. However, their core competency, as indicated by the business name and reviews, lies squarely in tire-related solutions.

Key Features and Customer Experience:

Customer reviews paint a mixed, yet informative, picture of Roberto's Tires' key features:

  • Good Customer Service: Several positive reviews emphasize "Very Good customer Service" and that the "Staff always provide Great Customer service." This suggests a general commitment to polite and helpful interactions with clients, striving to make them feel welcome and attended to. They "always come through" in providing "great Tire service," implying reliability in their primary offerings.
  • Tire Service Expertise: The consistent positive feedback on "great Tire service" indicates proficiency in their core business.

However, a significant concern regarding pricing consistency emerged from one customer's experience:

  • Inconsistent and Appearance-Based Pricing Concerns: A critical review highlighted a discrepancy where a customer who usually paid $20 for a used tire was quoted $50 for the "same service" on a subsequent visit, apparently due to being "dressed up a little fancier." This suggests a potential lack of transparency and consistency in pricing, leading to a feeling of being taken advantage of. This issue directly impacts "trust in their practices" and could be a significant deterrent for customers who "value businesses that are transparent and consistent in their pricing." This aspect represents a critical area for improvement regarding customer perception and trust.

This contrasting feedback suggests that while the front-line customer service and basic tire services might be perceived as good, the pricing policy or its application by certain staff members could be a point of concern for some customers.

Promotional Information:

Given the customer feedback, Roberto's Tires' promotional efforts would ideally focus on leveraging its strengths while actively addressing areas of concern. Without specific promotional details, typical strategies for a tire shop could include:

  • Highlighting "Great Tire Service" and Customer Satisfaction: Emphasizing positive aspects such as reliable service and friendly staff in their marketing materials.
  • Promoting Competitive Pricing (with clarity): If their general pricing for used tires is typically low ($20 as mentioned by the customer), they should clearly communicate this to avoid confusion and perception of unfair pricing. Any variations in price (e.g., for different tire sizes, conditions, or brands) should be transparently explained upfront.
  • Transparency in Quoting: Actively promoting a clear, consistent, and upfront quoting process for all services. This would directly address the concern raised by the customer about price hikes without explanation.
  • Customer Loyalty Programs: Implementing programs that reward repeat customers, possibly by offering consistent pricing or small discounts, to build long-term trust and counteract negative perceptions.
  • Referral Programs: Encouraging satisfied customers to refer new clients, potentially with a small incentive, as word-of-mouth is crucial for local businesses.
  • Online Presence: While no online presence details were provided, having a website or active social media where they can display services, pricing policies (or a statement about transparent quotes), and respond to reviews could be beneficial.

Roberto's Tires at 1017 W Imperial Hwy, Los Angeles, CA 90044, presents itself as a local provider of tire sales and services. While generally praised for good customer service and reliable tire work, potential customers should seek clear and consistent pricing information upfront to ensure a satisfactory experience.

I have been a customer at this tire shop for some time, and they typically charge me $20 for a used tire and I usually tip. However, on my most recent visit, I was dressed up a little fancier due to an event I was attending after. And the young guy there tried to charge me $50 for the same service without any clear explanation for the price hike. It felt like they were trying to take advantage of me, which is very disappointing. I can’t stand when places judge you for your education and appearance and hike the price. I value businesses that are transparent and consistent in their pricing, but this experience has made me lose trust in their practices.

Came here to get my tire patched after noticing I was losing a lot of air. They were so accommodating! One of the guys even screwed my bumper together (that was on the verge of falling off) for free! Just looking out for little ol me. I was in and out in about 10 mins and it coat $15 to patch. Highly recommend! Even going by myself as a female, they looked out for me instead of trying to screw me over.

Their tires go bad after a month and when they “replace” your tires they just keep it and patch it. Then give you another tire they patched. Horrible service and no manners. Rude
