For individuals in Tucson, Arizona, seeking automotive paint services, Revic's Auto Paint, located at 3612 S Randolph Ave, Tucson, AZ 85713, USA, positions itself within the Auto Repair Stations category, specifically focusing on vehicle aesthetics and bodywork. While the name suggests a specialization in paint, an objective overview based on customer feedback presents a complex picture of its operations and customer experiences.
The physical environment of Revic's Auto Paint, like many specialized auto repair facilities, would typically include a dedicated paint booth, prep areas for sanding and bodywork, and a general workspace for vehicles. These environments are designed to maintain cleanliness and control airborne particles to ensure a high-quality paint finish. However, specific details about the client waiting areas or overall shop presentation are not available in the provided information. The focus, as indicated by the nature of the business, would be on the technical space required for paint application and bodywork.
Revic's Auto Paint offers services primarily centered around automotive painting and related body repairs. Based on the customer review, the services include repainting bumpers, specifically addressing issues like "spiderweb cracks," and repairing minor body damage such as "BB gun type hole" in vehicle panels. The expectation from the customer was a complete and high-quality paint job, implying services like surface preparation, paint application, and finishing. The nature of the work on a 1980 Pontiac Trans Am Turbo suggests they handle both classic and potentially specialized vehicles, requiring specific knowledge of materials like rubber bumpers and appropriate repair techniques.
Key features of Revic's Auto Paint, as described by a customer, include a promise of specific turnaround times, with a stated goal of completing work quickly (e.g., "done in 4 days"). The proprietor, Manolo, appears to be the primary point of contact and decision-maker, indicating a business where customer interaction often occurs directly with the lead professional. The shop seemingly offers to "make it right" if initial work is unsatisfactory, suggesting a willingness to address customer concerns, at least initially. The address and contact information are readily available: (520) 304-2690 or +1 520-304-2690.
However, the customer review also highlights significant challenges and negative features experienced. These include severe and repeated delays in project completion, extending a promised 4-day job to 6 weeks. More critically, the quality of the work itself was a major point of contention. The paint "had already cracked" shortly after the initial delivery, and despite multiple attempts to rectify it, the issue persisted. The customer observed that the car was "only half-painted again" and that "some of the detail in the bumper had been rubbed away because it had been sanded so many times." This points to potential issues with proper technique, material selection (e.g., using "better bondo" on a rubber bumper), or consistent quality control. The ultimate outcome for this customer was receiving the car "back in worse shape than I left it" after paying "hundreds of dollars," with no offer of a refund despite the unfulfilled promise of work quality.
From the provided information, there is no explicit promotional information for Revic's Auto Paint. Auto repair stations specializing in paint and bodywork typically offer various promotions to attract clients, such as:
- Free estimates: Providing a no-cost assessment of repair needs and pricing.
- Discounts on full-body paint jobs: Incentives for comprehensive painting services.
- Referral bonuses: Rewards for customers who bring in new business.
- Seasonal specials: Offers on scratch repair, clear coat restoration, or specific panel repaints.
- Guarantees on paint work: Warranties against peeling, fading, or cracking for a certain period, which would be crucial for building trust given the issues raised in the review.
Given the nature of the customer feedback, prospective clients should exercise caution and conduct thorough due diligence. It would be advisable to inquire about the specific techniques used for their vehicle's material, verify completion timelines in writing, and clearly understand any guarantees on the work performed. Direct contact at the provided phone numbers would be the primary way to gather more information, but customers should be prepared to ask detailed questions about the process, materials, and expected outcomes.
In conclusion, Revic's Auto Paint in Tucson is an auto repair station specializing in vehicle painting services. While it offers solutions for cosmetic damage and repainting, and the proprietor, Manolo, engages directly with clients, the available customer feedback highlights significant concerns regarding project timelines, the quality of the finished work, and customer satisfaction with problem resolution. The detailed negative experience suggests potential inconsistencies in service delivery and technical expertise, particularly for specialized materials or complex repairs. This information is intended to provide an objective overview for local users considering their automotive paint needs.

Manolo could not finish his promised work on my car, and also did not offer any sort of refund. I brought my 1980 Pontiac Trans Am Turbo to Manolo to have both bumpers repainted (they had spiderweb cracks everywhere), and a tiny BB gun type hole in the hood repaired. He promised the work would be done in 4 days. This was important because I was leaving, with the car, to move out of state. But, at that point, I still had 4 to 6 weeks before the move date, and just a few things left to do on the car in addition to the paint. All good, with time to spare. 4 days later the delays began. Manolo asked for one more day, then two more days, then it would be after the weekend, etc. At first, this was not a problem. I understand unexpected issues come up, and I still had time before my move. He finally delivered the car, but we immediately saw that the paint had already cracked. Manolo said he wanted to make it right, and asked me to bring it back in, he wanted to use "better bondo". Note that the 1980 Trans Am has a rubber bumper -- you can't use the same techniques you would on metal, from what I understand. At this point, I'm really doubting whether Manolo can actually do the work. However, I still want to give Manolo a chance to make it right. So, back to Revics the car goes, with a promise to have it done in a few days. Again the delays. Again I have to cancel or reschedule other work I had planned on the car. In the end, the car was back and forth to Manolo for 6 weeks and he still couldn't get it right. When I finally picked it up (because I had to take it to another mechanic to have work done, last-minute, before my move), even though Manolo told me it was "in the paint shop" earlier that week, when I arrived it was only half-painted again, and some of the detail in the bumper had been rubbed away because it had been sanded so many times. So, after paying him hundreds of dollars, I got the car back in worse shape than I left it. Not once did he offer even a partial refund. He kept asking for the car back. I did not have time for that (4 days versus 6 weeks, completely different, and I wasn't lying about the move! Literally no time left, and he knew that deadline). Manolo, if you read this, I'm happy to update this review if you make it right, stand behind your work, and give me a refund.

Guys a joke never meets dead lines and his work is terrible. And just tells many lies. The work is bad. And he takes her away in pure lies. And he never delivers when he says he will deliver.
