Reinert and Bender Introduce

For local users in Frankenmuth, Michigan, Reinert and Bender, located at 182 E Jefferson St, operates within the platform category of Auto Repair Stations. They can be contacted at (989) 652-2951 or their mobile number +1 989-652-2951. Based on the limited information available, including two customer reviews, Reinert and Bender appears to offer services that extend beyond typical mechanical repairs, potentially including towing services and the sale of used vehicles. However, it is crucial for local users to carefully consider the experiences shared by these reviewers when deciding whether to engage with this establishment.

One customer recounts a significantly negative experience involving a towing service. According to this review, after their vehicle became stuck, the first tow truck driver dispatched by Reinert and Bender allegedly backed their own truck into a ditch. Subsequently, a second tow truck was called to recover the first one, not the customer's vehicle. Despite this, the customer reports being charged for both towing services, totaling $220. Feeling unjustly billed for the initial driver's error, the customer states their intention to pursue a refund through small claims court and advises others to avoid calling Reinert and Bender if their vehicle is stuck.

The second review details a negative experience related to purchasing a used vehicle from Reinert and Bender several years prior. The customer reports that the vehicle, a truck bought for $6700, allegedly broke in half within less than a year of purchase. The reviewer further mentions experiencing multiple breakdowns and the need for numerous parts replacements leading up to this catastrophic failure. As a result, the customer claims to have lost over $10,000 and strongly cautions potential buyers to "beware" of purchasing vehicles from this establishment.

Given these two customer accounts, it is challenging to provide a detailed introduction to the environment, services, features, and promotional information of Reinert and Bender based solely on positive attributes. Instead, it is necessary to objectively analyze the implications of these reviews for local users considering their services within the Auto Repair Stations category.

Typically, an Auto Repair Station encompasses businesses that offer maintenance, repair, and sometimes towing services for vehicles. If Reinert and Bender operates within this broader category, their services might theoretically include:

  • General Vehicle Repair: Addressing mechanical issues, although no direct evidence of this is provided in the reviews.
  • Towing Services: As indicated by the first review, they do offer towing, but the experience described raises concerns about billing practices and the competence of their drivers.
  • Used Vehicle Sales: The second review explicitly mentions purchasing a used truck, suggesting this is also part of their business operations. However, the reported quality of this vehicle is a significant concern.

The environment of Reinert and Bender at 182 E Jefferson St in Frankenmuth is not described in the provided information. One might expect a typical auto repair shop to have service bays, tools, and equipment necessary for vehicle maintenance and repair, as well as an area for displaying used vehicles if they are sold on-site. However, without further information or positive customer feedback, it is difficult to paint a reliable picture of their physical premises or operational standards.

In terms of features, again, the negative reviews overshadow any potential positive attributes that might typically characterize an Auto Repair Station. Features that are generally valued in such businesses include:

  • Skilled Mechanics: The reviews do not offer any insight into the expertise of their repair personnel.
  • Fair Pricing: The towing review strongly suggests potential issues with fair billing practices. The used car review points to significant concerns about the value and reliability of their vehicles.
  • Reliable Service: Both reviews detail experiences that could be categorized as unreliable and detrimental to the customers.
  • Customer Support: The towing review indicates a lack of resolution for a billing dispute.

Promotional information is entirely absent in the provided data. It is common for auto repair stations and used car dealerships to offer various promotions to attract customers. For a business like Reinert and Bender, this might theoretically include discounts on specific repair services, special financing offers on used vehicles, or seasonal maintenance packages. However, given the serious nature of the negative feedback, local users would likely approach any promotional offers with extreme caution and conduct thorough due diligence.

The two customer reviews paint a concerning picture of Reinert and Bender. The first review raises serious questions about their towing service's professionalism and billing ethics. The second review presents a severe indictment of the quality and reliability of a used vehicle purchased from them. These are significant red flags for any potential customers in the Frankenmuth area considering Reinert and Bender for auto repair, towing, or used vehicle purchases.

Given the gravity of the accusations made in these reviews, it is imperative for local users to proceed with extreme caution. It would be prudent to seek services from other Auto Repair Stations in Frankenmuth with more positive and verifiable track records. If considering Reinert and Bender, potential customers should perhaps seek additional, more recent reviews from diverse sources to gain a broader perspective, or consider direct, detailed inquiries about their service policies and guarantees.

In conclusion, Reinert and Bender, located in Frankenmuth, MI, operates as an Auto Repair Station that appears to offer towing services and used vehicle sales, in addition to any potential general auto repair services not mentioned in the provided reviews. However, the available customer feedback is overwhelmingly negative, citing issues with overcharging for towing and the sale of a severely unreliable used vehicle. Local users are strongly advised to carefully consider these experiences and exercise caution when contemplating using Reinert and Bender's services.

Reinert and Bender Customer Reviews

This company is a rip off. I got stuck, the 1st driver backed himself in a ditch. He called for another tow to pull him out not me, but they charged me for both trucks. $220. I'm taking them to small claims court for a refund. I should've never been charged for 2 trucks. I can't help the 1st driver can't drive. If you get in a rut don't call them

Bought a vehicle from there a few years back, it broke in half not even a year after. Beware. Bought the truck for 6700. Multiple break downs after, Many parts needed threw out to have it break in half. I lost over 10,000 because of it.

I work in Frankenmuth and left my van with this shop when I heard loud clunking noise in the van's front end. My friend knows the owner and recommended this shop to me, unfortunately. I left an envelope with my keys in their drop box an wrote "supension? CV joint?" After two days they called and said they couldn't find anything wrong even after placing it on the hoist. They charged me $60. After I drove it home, the van made the same noise. The next day my regular mechanic found the blown CV joint and grease splattered all over. When I went back to complain, they argued with me and blamed me for "misunderstanding". The manager did call me back to the shop to reimburse, but then informed me he would fire the man who handled the inspection. I don't know if this was intended to make me feel responsible? They still insisted the blown CV joint must not have been evident until I returned home, which is nonsense. Thus was not a good experience, though they did the right thing by reimbursing me.
