I have a 2003 BMW 530i with 188,000 miles. I brought it in to have them replace the expansion tank. I had my own part and coolant for the replacement. I paid $125 for the labor. When the work was completed, the mechanic brought my vehicle to the front of the shop. I immediately noticed that there was coolant steadily leaking out on the ground in front of it. When I mentioned this to him he told me that this was NOT coolant but water and that everything was fine. I know the difference between coolant and water. I knew that this was NOT water leaking out. Unfortunately, I didn't get but a few miles away and had to come back. I tried to fill it with coolant but it immediately leaked out. When I came back the mechanic examined it again and determined that one of the hoses underneath the expansion tank had to be replaced. Mostly, all of the coolant I had was gone. They now have to order the hose and more coolant from All European in Ferndale. Except for the less than hour that I took the car and had to return, they had my car from just before 10am until 4:05pm. Now, its been a week and I have been noticing that the heat has not been strong. I decided to drain all of the coolant out. That's when I discovered that the coolant was GREEN not BLUE. BMW coolant is a distinct bluish color. I had to now flush the coolant system out and replace it with the proper coolant. Fortunately, for me, I have 15 years experience working on this vehicle. This was not a mistake. This was deliberate and deceitful. I wonder, how many others they did this to. Unfortunately, I will have to look for another auto repair shop.

I just stopped here to get an oil change. They went out of their way to stay extra for me. I was coming from Jackson these guys, Al and the otherAl that works at the front desk. They are amazing if you need anything done with your car we have been coming here for years. Please don’t go anywhere else. These are the guys they feel like family to us.
