Rebuilt Starters & Alternators Introduce

Rebuilt Starters & Alternators, located at 4537 Bennett Rd, Toledo, OH 43612, USA, is an establishment operating within the Auto Repair Stations category. As its name explicitly states, the business specializes in the sale and service of rebuilt starters and alternators, critical electrical components for vehicle operation. This introduction will provide an objective overview of the business, incorporating the available customer feedback to paint a comprehensive picture for local users in Toledo, OH. It is important to present the information impartially, acknowledging both the stated specialization and the concerns raised in customer reviews.

Regarding the **environment** at Rebuilt Starters & Alternators, the provided reviews do not offer descriptive details about the physical appearance or customer amenities of the shop. However, as a specialized auto parts and repair service focusing on electrical components, the environment would typically be a functional workshop space. This would include areas for testing, disassembling, rebuilding, and reassembling starters and alternators, alongside storage for cores, new parts, and rebuilt units. The nature of rebuilding involves precision work, implying a need for a clean and organized workbench area. The negative sentiment in the reviews, particularly concerning professionalism, might suggest that the customer experience within the physical environment was less than ideal, though specific environmental factors are not detailed. For a business specializing in such components, the emphasis of the environment would be on technical capability and efficiency in handling these specific parts rather than on a traditional full-service garage setup.

The core **services** offered by Rebuilt Starters & Alternators, as indicated by its name, are the **rebuilding and sale of starters and alternators**. This means customers can likely bring in their faulty units for repair and rebuilding, or purchase pre-rebuilt units as replacements. These components are essential for a vehicle's starting and charging systems. A functional starter is necessary to crank the engine, while the alternator charges the battery and powers the electrical system once the engine is running. The first review describes bringing an alternator in for a rebuild, indicating this is a direct service offered. The second review touches on the application of these components, implying that the business also provides advice or insights regarding electrical system needs, specifically in relation to high-end audio systems and the capacity of stock alternators. While direct vehicle installation services are not explicitly mentioned, specialized shops often either perform minor installations related to the components they sell or advise customers on installation, or serve other repair shops. Their phone number, (419) 478-4904 (and mobile +1 419-478-4904), is the primary contact for inquiries about availability, pricing, or specific rebuilding needs.

The **features** of Rebuilt Starters & Alternators, as conveyed through the available customer feedback, highlight both the intended specialization and some significant concerns. The primary intended feature is the **specialization in rebuilt starters and alternators**, offering a potentially more cost-effective alternative to brand-new parts. The business aims to provide restored components that perform like new. However, the customer reviews point to critical issues regarding service quality and professionalism. One customer alleges that their alternator was not properly fixed, claiming the internals were kept from their old, faulty unit, and that the owner, Wally, "stole my money and charged 80 dollars." This review also accuses the business of being "absolutely not professional" and "gets over on people." The second review, while brief, suggests a potential mismatch in understanding customer needs, stating, "They think stock alternators can keep up with high end audio systems," which could indicate a lack of specialized knowledge or willingness to accommodate specific, high-demand electrical requirements. These features, as depicted by the reviews, suggest that while the business focuses on a niche product, the execution and customer perception of that service have been problematic for some.

Concerning **promotional information**, the provided reviews do not contain any positive promotional messages or details about advertised specials from Rebuilt Starters & Alternators. Instead, the customer feedback acts as a cautionary signal for potential clients. In the absence of positive testimonials or explicit marketing content, the business's promotion relies solely on its name, indicating its specialization, and its listing within the Auto Repair Stations category. For local users in Toledo, OH, seeking starter or alternator services, these reviews present a critical consideration. While the business may offer a needed specialized service, the negative experiences reported by customers directly contradict what typical positive promotional messages would convey (e.g., reliability, expertise, customer satisfaction). Therefore, potential customers should approach with caution and perhaps conduct thorough research or seek additional references. Any prospective client should directly contact Rebuilt Starters & Alternators via their phone number to inquire about their specific services, pricing, and perhaps discuss any concerns based on widely available public feedback before committing to service. The most significant promotional element currently available online, albeit negative, is the customer feedback itself, which strongly influences perceptions of the business's reliability and integrity.

I took my alternator in for a rebuild and the owner Wally took my shell replaced it with a different shell and kept all the same internals from my old one and never fixed it he stole my money and charged 80 dollars I went and got a new alternator and the issue went away so he gets over on people more than anyone really knows just keep your eyes open and check the work he does because I promise he’s absolutely not professional

Kenny still works there and has old school business practices. He went out of way to help get my vehicle back on the road on a weekend. I wish all mechanics were as honest and forthright. The prices have always been second to none. I've taken my vehicles here for over twenty years and never had a problem.

No working phone number and my experience explains why. The mechanic on staff made racist comments regarding Black people and Jews. Told us the alternator would be ready at 330p, went to pick it up at 4p...said come back at closing 6p, he's driving off as we're driving up, waving goodbye???another employee approaches us to advise he will be back at 8p... he then calls at 750p to say I have to take a shower it'll be ready at 830p. We get there at 830p he's as dirty if not dirtier than before he left; we tell him he should take some money off for the inconvenience and he starts this racist rant about how he hates Black people and Blacks never want to pay .....Very unprofessional, rude, and racist.
