Highly recommend! We were out of town to states away from our home when my bearings and axle seals went out, and he came out and helped us immediately. No questions asked and took his time to explain to us everything and to let us know what he was doing so that way if we ever had the issue again, we might be able to do it ourselves. We have two small children that were with us and we were needing to get back we have. We’re stuck in town for two weeks because we were having an issue finding somebody that would be able to work with us and I I have never come across someone, so honest and genuine willing to help like this

Edit: 12/2 went to our bank to discuss our options and they stated that he never made the refund in the first place that there was no evidence of him trying to do the refund on the deactivated card and advised us to file a chargeback as he promised us a refund and never gave us a refund. We successfully received the money back through our chargeback. Be very cautious using his service because although it seemed like great service in the beginning it ended up being a headache to get the money back for the faulty part he installed. We also believe he did block our numbers and never processed the refund in the first place. Edit: 11/29 finally got a call back on a different number I have and was advised he never received the refund back from square as they said the refund did go through to our card so he would not he able to refund us until he got that back. However, the refund did not go through to our card because it is deactivated and our bank advised us it would not go back on to our card rather it would be reversed to him. We understood that he would not refumd us until the refund was reversed bank into his account and expressed understanding that multiple times. We asked if he had proof of square saying that it was successfully in our account or proof of the refund being made but he said he didnit. He also stating "he was washing his hands of this situation" as he said he did everything on his end that he could. I told him we would call our bank to get proof that the refund was never made to us that he could then supply to square to get the money back to then refund us a different way. Edit: 11/29 the starter he used for the replacement has been untrustworthy. Sometimes the car turns on other times it does not. Our regular mechanic said it is an issue with the starter itself and will need to be replaced. We had this starter for less than a month amd we started having these issues. We contacted Tyler about this and he offered to refund us for the price of the starter. He stated he had credited our bank card we used, however, we had to deactive that bank card so we asked if he could do a bank transfer. He advised he would once the funds returned to his bank account from the previous refund he tried to process, to which we understood. However, it has been about 2 weeks and still no refund. Even worse is when we try calling him our numbers go straight to voice-mail but when we call on a different number it goes through. Therefore we definitely know he blocked ours numbers. We did get ahold of him using a different number and when I stated who i was he was quick to get off the phone with me and told me "he would call me back because he is in the middle of things". Well I do hope he calls me back to resolve this issue as he provided me with a faulty starter and promised the money back for the cost of the starter. Tyler, please make this right and in doing so I will delete the negative review. Please do not scam us as we feel we are current being scammed. Highly recommend Rango Recovery! Was visiting the area from 5 hours away and was trying to leave on Sunday to get back home before work on Monday. Saturday night got gas and my car wouldn't turn back on. Called AAA to get it towed back to my hotel for the night. Woke up Sunday and tried to call mechanics in the area but being Sunday I knew it would be a problem to get a mechanic to fix the car that day. Called Tyler at Rango Recovery and he came out within the hour to where my car was. When he came he was friendly and upbeat. He knew exactly what was wrong with the car, new starter, and fixed it within 20 minutes. While fixing it he explained what was wrong and what he was doing in detail. Very knowledgeable. Car now runs better than before! Tyler was quick, professional, affordable, and knowledgeable. He is the real deal!

Tyler of Rango Recovery & Roadside Repair is a lifesaver. I hit a chunk of ice that made my car undriveable three hours from home on a Sunday. With no shops open I was fortunate that Tyler came to the spot where my car was stranded and completed the work late-night on a cold street! If it weren't for him, I'd have to wait until Monday (while I'm supposed to be at work) to see if a local shop could fit me in, adding a day or two (and $$$) to my trip. The work was quick, professional, kind and affordable. Tyler could have easily told me he would be there in the morning, but he knew I needed to get on the road ASAP so went out of his way to help me out 10:30pm on a Sunday. There are so many shops that take advantage of customers by charging a ton or doing terrible work, but Tyler is not one of them! He is there for his customers day and night because he wants to help and the quality is better than any of the shops I've visited in 5 years. Forget the big chain shops, Rango Recovery should be your go to. Give Tyler a call, he's always ready to help.

Tyler came out to do a “pre-purchase”inspection on our Honda we purchased from Carvana. He was knowledgeable and courteous- taking the time to explain what he was looking at and he even was able to repair the minor issue he found on the spot- all for practically next to nothing. There are not a lot of folks out there offering roadside repairs anymore and Tyler just so happens to also be a great mechanic.

Tyler has kept my lawnmower, 4 wheeler and tractor running well for the last few years. Its great having him come to my home and not having to take the equipment to another place for repairs. He has also helped me with other projects as needed such as recommending and then installing a winch for the 4 wheeler plow so I can operate it easily.
