Rafs Repairs

Ive been a customer for 3 years, and have had car service from a few places on long island, but i can genuinely say this is the best and only place to get your car serviced (other than inspections). I've had two cars Raf has sold me, done repairs to, and they've run better than any previous cars i've ever had. I can honestly say this is the best price for the best work and the most trustworthy place to get your car serviced. This is thee hidden gem of car maintenance on long island. I would never give anything 5 stars if i was not truly satisfied. I drive a lot (30k miles in a year) and have never had bad work done at Raf's Repairs. If you're looking for other mechanics to go to, stop looking because you've found the best one.

I brought my Miata into Raf's for an A/C system install, and a power-steering leak repair. He took great care of the car, kept me updated throughout the time the car was at his shop, and made me aware of anything else he saw that he felt may pose an issue in the future. He's definitely a solid technician, and a super friendly person. I would definitely recommend him to anyone who needs work done on their Mazda.

It’s hard to find honest mechanics but Raf is more than that. Down to earth guy who has earned my trust. Family and friends can say the same since they have also been happy with his work after recommending him to them. Thanks for everything after all these years Raf!

Will be personally returning and recommending this business to anyone in the future, splendid atmosphere with a down to earth and super knowledgeable owner / worker. I used to do all maintenance/repairs myself but due to a lack of free time I had to outsource the work to a shop, which I’ve always had a distrust of. However Raf’s Repairs is a complete 180° difference from his competition and his workmanship, customer service, and results speak for themselves. This is a local business that has gained my full support and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for Raf.

I bought a 1997 Miata recently after wanting one for my entire life. I finally found one after searching for years. Only problem was it had 400 thousand miles on it. That didn’t stop me from doing donuts, tracks days, and long drives across the state. Nothing could stop it. Yet imagine my shock when my high mileage car blew an engine. Raf quickly found a replacement engine for a fantastic price. I soon get to harass my friends for assistance in installing this thing. Thanks Raf!

Raf is an honest hard working guy if u own a Miata there isn't a better place to bring ur car on the island he knows that car inside and out. Overall you will be very satisfied with the work raf puts into your car
