RADIATOR.COM Introduce

RADIATOR.COM, situated at 5300 E Adamo Dr, Tampa, FL 33619, USA, is a specialized auto parts store primarily focusing on automotive cooling system components. While the platform category provided is "Auto Repair Stations," it's crucial to clarify that RADIATOR.COM operates predominantly as a supplier of parts, rather than a full-service repair shop that performs installations directly on vehicles. This distinction is important for local users to understand when seeking their services or products. Their core business revolves around providing new and potentially remanufactured radiators and related cooling system parts for a wide range of vehicles.

Environment and Facility

As an auto parts store, particularly one specializing in radiators, the environment at RADIATOR.COM's physical location at 5300 E Adamo Dr is likely configured for efficient inventory management and customer pickup. It would typically feature a warehouse-style setup for storing a large volume of radiators and cooling system components, along with a counter or reception area for customer interactions. Given its specialization, the facility might not have the traditional waiting area of an auto repair shop, but rather a dedicated space for processing orders and facilitating quick transactions. The address suggests a location within a commercial or industrial district in Tampa, making it accessible for professional mechanics and DIY enthusiasts who know where to find specialized parts.

Services and Products Offered

Operating under the umbrella of "Auto Repair Stations" but functioning as a parts supplier, RADIATOR.COM's primary offering is the sale of radiators and associated cooling system parts. These services and goods would include:

  • New Radiators: A vast inventory of new radiators for various makes and models of cars, trucks, and potentially heavy-duty equipment.
  • Condensers: Components essential for a vehicle's air conditioning system, often purchased alongside radiators for comprehensive cooling system maintenance.
  • Cooling Fans and Fan Assemblies: Electrically or belt-driven fans that pull air through the radiator and condenser.
  • Hoses and Belts: Essential components for fluid circulation within the cooling system.
  • Thermostats and Water Pumps: Key parts that regulate coolant flow and circulate coolant throughout the engine.
  • Radiator Caps and Coolant: Smaller but crucial items for maintaining proper pressure and fluid levels.
  • Delivery Services: Based on customer reviews, RADIATOR.COM likely offers delivery services to local repair shops and individuals, which is a significant convenience for their clientele. This allows mechanics to receive parts quickly, minimizing vehicle downtime.

It is important to note that while they supply parts for auto repair, RADIATOR.COM itself is generally not a service center that performs the installation of these parts. Customers typically purchase parts from them and then take them to a mechanic for installation or perform the repair themselves.

Key Features and Strengths

Based on the business model and provided customer feedback, several key features and strengths of RADIATOR.COM can be highlighted:

  • Specialization in Cooling Systems: Their dedicated focus on radiators and related components means they likely have a deep inventory and expertise in this specific area, offering a wider selection and potentially more specialized knowledge than general auto parts stores.
  • Competitive Pricing: The customer review explicitly mentions "cheap parts" and buying a radiator for "less than half of the big 3 automotive stores." This indicates a strong competitive pricing strategy, making them an attractive option for budget-conscious consumers and repair shops.
  • Availability and Speed of Delivery: For auto repair shops, quick access to parts is critical. While one review points to a negative experience with a driver, the overall concept of "1800 radiator is a great company" suggests that their delivery service is generally efficient and a key selling point for their business model.
  • Broad Selection: Due to their specialization, RADIATOR.COM likely maintains a comprehensive stock for a wide range of vehicle types, ensuring that customers can often find the specific radiator or cooling part they need without extensive searching.
Customer Feedback and Considerations

The provided customer review offers a mixed but insightful perspective. While the positive aspect highlights the company's strength in offering competitive pricing and the quality of their parts ("great company and have cheap parts," "Bought a radiator for less than half of the big 3 automotive stores"), it also brings to light a significant operational challenge: the delivery experience.

  • The negative feedback about the "extremely rude" driver, including accusations of yelling and arguing, indicates a potential inconsistency in their delivery service's professionalism. This is a critical area for any business, as delivery personnel are often the direct face of the company to the customer.
  • The customer's intention to "send it into corporate" suggests that RADIATOR.COM, likely being part of a larger network or having a corporate structure, takes customer service feedback seriously and has channels for addressing such issues.

For potential customers, this feedback suggests that while RADIATOR.COM is a strong contender for price and product availability for cooling system components, it is advisable to consider the delivery aspect or confirm pickup options if a direct interaction with delivery personnel is a concern. The overall value proposition, however, remains strong due to their specialized inventory and pricing.

Promotional Information

While specific current promotions for RADIATOR.COM are not readily available online without direct inquiry or visiting their website, auto parts stores, especially those focused on specific components, often engage in various promotional activities to attract customers. These might include:

  • Wholesale Pricing for Businesses: Offering special pricing tiers for auto repair shops and bulk purchasers.
  • Online Discounts: Providing discounts for orders placed through their website.
  • Seasonal Sales: Campaigns around peak maintenance seasons (e.g., pre-summer checks for cooling systems).
  • Bundle Deals: Offering discounts when purchasing a radiator with related components like hoses or a fan assembly.
  • Free Delivery for Larger Orders: Incentivizing larger purchases by waiving delivery fees.
  • Price Match Guarantees: Assuring customers they offer the best price for specific parts.

Customers are encouraged to contact RADIATOR.COM directly at (800) 248-8720 or +1 800-248-8720 to inquire about current inventory, specific part availability, pricing, and any ongoing promotions or delivery policies. Their dedicated phone numbers suggest a strong focus on direct customer interaction for sales and inquiries.

In summary, RADIATOR.COM at 5300 E Adamo Dr, Tampa, FL 33619, USA, serves as a vital resource for anyone in need of automotive cooling system parts. Their specialization, competitive pricing, and logistical capabilities make them a significant player in the local auto parts market, despite the isolated customer service hiccup mentioned in the review. For consumers and professional mechanics seeking quality radiators and cooling components at attractive prices, RADIATOR.COM presents a compelling option worth exploring.

RADIATOR.COM Customer Reviews

Driver was extremely rude. He couldn’t even wait 45 seconds or even get out of his car to knock on the shop gate. Once he came back to drop off the parts he yelled at me and called me a liar. Then stood in the middle, of my shop after we paid him to continue arguing about the situation. 1800 radiator is a great company and have cheap parts. But this driver was a nightmare. I have his whole episode recorded on camera I will be sending it into corporate.

Best place around for all radiator and ac parts

I bought a radiator from this place and they gave me the wrong radiator. I went to go get a refund and now it’s going to take 7 days for me to get money back on my card… for the price I should have went to auto zone, there’s was $10 cheaper and I would have had it fixed. Guess I have to go another 7 days without a car. Thanks 1800Radiator.

The number one reason for my great review: I needed a radiator for an old car I was restoring and they had one in sock. It was priced right and fit perfectly. I saved a lot of time and money and am really happy I found them. Based on my experience, 5 stars!
