I chose this auto repair shop based on the numerous very good reviews. Very happy I went this route. I don't know anything about automotive related things yet I found John, the owner, to be an extremely fair and trustworthy as a mechanic. He went through and showed me everything he was going to do in advance and even showed me how some of the repairs were extremely low cost--I wouldn't have known either way, abd that's how I know he is honest. John has several decades of experience and an encyclopedic knowledge of cars and trucks of every make and model. Can't recommend him highly enough. If you're looking for a trustworthy and high quality mechanic in Ypsilanti, your search is over.

O'Reilly's technician talked very high about John, so I went today to his store. I told him about engine ticking noise I have he checked it and said it is absolutely normal then he double checked his diagnosis on his laptop without me asking him. He I took like 15 min his time yet he didn't ask for any money on contrary he dismissed me politely. I highly appreciate his honesty and experience

John has been fixing automobiles for 30+ years! This man is a magician when it comes to car repairs. I just bought my 03’ Honda Odyssey for a really cheap price, since it had been in an accident. The muffler was squashed into the body and loosened from its original position. My friend’s dad was concerned for me, as I am about to trek from Michigan back to my home state of Massachusetts, and said his friend has recommended John very highly. He has a network of people saying fantastic things about his work and reasonable prices. So, he made me an appointment for the same evening of the call. We shared stories about life along with his friend that was visiting the shop. (Who also serenaded me with his lovely singing) I had the joy of watching first hand how John problem solved and welded the muffler back into place. He checked the whole vehicle to make sure that I will safely be on my way. Thank you so much for your kindness and quality work John!!

My daughter is a student at Eastern and we live on the other side of the state. She decided to make a Target run close to midnight and her car broke down. All the stars aligned when the tow truck driver took her vehicle to John. He was kind, honest, affordable & got her car moving again the following day. He even texted us on our 3 hour drive home to make sure everything was good! It makes my mom heart happy knowing if anything ever happens again my daughter has someone she can trust. Thank you John for being you!

I'm sure it's a great place to get work done I wouldn't know though. They never pick up their phone, called for two days before someone picked up. And when they did, they said theyd call be back to let me know when they had room. 4 days later, still no call.
