R & D Truck Center

I've been here several times. The staff here is more knowledgeable about GM vehicles than anyone I've used in the surrounding area. The prices are good, right in line with what you'd expect to pay at the mechanic. They've been able to quickly diagnose/fix whatever I've thrown at them. I thank them for keeping my Silverado on the road. Highly recommend this place!

I was caught in one of the worst possible situations; 2 women from out of state driving across country and my truck breaks down. What's more is I was towing a trailer and it was nearing 5 pm. As I prepared myself to be raked over the coals for the repair and having to eat several deposits for lodging we had lined up for the rest of our journey, I was put in touch with R&D Truck Center. And from there we were treated with compassion, courtesy and respect. What could have been a terribly expensive repair turned into a fair and reasonable one. I was not treated like a stupid woman and instead was shown nothing but politeness and a man who couldn't do enough for us. Rob (if memory serves) was a true gentlemen who had a diagnosis within minutes and a handle on the necessary parts. In an effort to save us the cost of a tow, he tried to get the truck running enough to drive to his shop and did so on the side of the road while in the pouring rain just an hour before closing time. When he couldn't get the truck running at the breakdown location, he stayed with us until a tow truck arrived (which consequently was more than an hour). He towed our trailer so we wouldn't have to pay for 2 tow trucks and even helped with our luggage as we hitched a ride to our hotel. Even more unbelievable is he agreed to do the repairs that evening (well into the late night hours) so we would be able to continue our cross country journey the next morning without delay and avoiding losing our deposits on lodging. No other repair shop in town would even look at my truck until the next day. First thing the next morning we were greeted with a fixed truck already hooked up to our trailer and a very reasonable invoice for the repairs - with no outrageous after hours charges. And I am happy to report, the truck has been running without issue ever since. We made it home, thousands of miles away, with no complication. What more can I say about this man and his business. He epitomizes everything we would all love in a mechanic and how a business should be run. He reminds us there is still good in this world and I can't thank him enough for the kindness he showed us at our greatest hour of need. I cannot recommend this business enough. Thank you very much!! You rock!!!

UNPROFESSIONAL HILLBILLY. TOLD ME TO HAVE TRUCK TOWED THERE AND 2 WEEKS LATER HAS NOT LOOKED AT TRUCK. TOLD ME EVERY DAY FOR 2 WEEKS, I'M GONNA GIT TO IT TOMORROW. LIAR. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. POSSUM IS PROBABLY EMBARASSED FOR REFERRING ME TO THIS GUY.
