If I could give a zero review I would. Negative would be even better. My car had to be towed from A to B urgently. Car was picked up after almost 2 hours and the drivers were really nice and respectful. The next day I contacted the dealership where the car was supposed to be located but car was not there. I continued to get text alerts from the company that makes the car to confirm that my car was delivered to the correct location. I responded with I was not sure at that time. I then stopped receiving the automobile company’s roadside assistance text. The dealership suggested that I call other local dealerships to see if I could find the car. I contacted the tow company that was set up through the dealerships road side assistance and a lady, no not a lady, a wench of a woman answered with the most awful attitude from the start of the phone call. The lady said they had my car in some random storage lot of theirs. I asked why no one contacted me as they contacted me when they were in route to tow my car. She stated because, “I did not hire her the insurance company did and she did not have to contact me.” I said but It is my car and I had no idea where it was for days. She began to yell at me as if I had done something wrong and that her life’s choices were my fault. She would not allow me to talk and yelled over me. I ended the phone call. I plan to contact law enforcement and an attorney as the roadside assistance is not through my insurance company and I had to pay for the service prior to them coming out to me. I have no idea the status of my car but I took pictures before it was towed. The dealership said that the tow company should never have taken my car to their storage lot even if the dealership lot was closed because there is a car drop off area with a drop box for the keys that is marked and very visible. Dealership confirmed that the roadside assistance is not through my personal insurance company. I now have to contact roadside assistance to provide them with the information where my car is stored because the dealership also called them to locate and roadside couldn't provide any information to the dealership other than the drop off location for my car on the date is was towed was to the address of the dealership location! Company owner: pay for her to receive counseling and soft skills training for working with the public. I don’t owe you money, my car was not repoed, I was not parked where I shouldn’t have been and even if any of these were true, this is not how you treat other people. You were supposed to be of assistance to me and you were paid for a service. This service I received, you should be paying me to deal with it.

Would NOT recommend this company. Order was sent through my insurance, R&D was suppose to do the tow, they kept giving my insurance company the run around, extending pick up time 60-90 minutes twice. Do NOT use their service.

My car wouldn’t start in Rock Hill and they very quickly retrieved my car and brought it to my designated location in Lancaster after hours. They were quick, communicative, honest, and polite. The first tow place my insurance connected me with tried to take advantage and when I pushed back, never showed for hours. I was then extra grateful for R&D’s quick and honest service and they even provided text updates so I knew they were actually completing the service. Much appreciated!

Rarely give reviews that are not positive but this one deserves it. First, the person called me and hung up on me when I told him I had followed my insurance company's directions. I called back and he did not answer. I waited almost three hours for an insurance tow with this company. Once they didn't meet the two hour deadline, they did not answer my call or, according to my insurance company, their calls either. I would have loved to give them a chance but they (R and D) canceled the ticket after 3 hours.

I have used R & D (Linwood Robinson) and his services for years now. His whole family is amazing and has always given us good advice on what to do with our vehicles. He has never "over-serviced" our vehicles. I was raised in a home with a father who owned a Chrysler dealership in Minnesota. He was known for his honesty and integrity and Linwood reminds me of father in that respect. On May 13th 2023, a driver forced my wife off the road into a pole in Fort Mill, SC totaling her car. Linwood dropped everything and arrived at the accident scene moments after I did. He hooked up the car, pulled it onto the trailer and off he went. So quick and easy. I am not trying to create an ad for this business, I'm just letting you all know that my experience has been wonderful during a time which can be quite stressful.
