QUICK SMOG

I called ahead of time and asked if they'd be able to smog a 93 del sol si and they said yes. When I arrived the smog tech had no knowledge of the car's specs and claimed my engine wasn't stock. He claimed that del sols don't come with vtec and are dual camd. This is true for 95 and up s models, as stated and repeated mine is a 93 si, a quick google search would have disproven this with ease. Which to my suprise he did look up on google and somehow missed the top 5 results stating that my make year and model comes stock with a vtec engine. Wasted 45 minutes of my time to get told by someone that they can't smog the car due to their ineptitude and claimed I was lying about the engine being stock. I explained the car had been smogged before and passed but he had already made up his uneducated mind. I personally wouldn't go here again simply because I feel that the people I trust to smog my car should at least be knowledgable and humble enough to accept when they are incorrect on something, or be competent enough to read a google result that tells them the engine is stock instead of lying to me over the phone.

Got there around 8:20am and they didnt show up and open the doors until maybe 8:35am . The place is supposed to open at 8am that day. Total charge was $68 and some change. Time taken to smog was pretty fast

I've been coming to this place for over 10 years same vehicle, he didn't pass my Vehicle the last time. The ower charged me the full price, the prices went up double I wouldn't come back to this place again definitely looking for a different spot.

This song shop is not open on Sunday like it says on their website. I waited for 30mins after 8am.

I have been coming to this place for about 6 years now. The man that owns the place is always professional and even in the past when my vehicle was iffy on weather or not it would pass he always took extra steps to try and make sure it would pass before running the smog test 😊 Land Rover Chevy
