I believe I spoke with a guy named Mickey I think? Anyways he called me back. Was very nice and knowledgeable. Gave me multiple options and explained everything very thoroughly. We decided on a plan if I were to bring my car there. But the phone conversation definitely said a lot about his character and how he interacts with people.

I took my truck to a shop that does great work but does not build trans, sadly this is the shop they do a great bit of work with and the end result is that because they said they were good we went with them. they built a trans for my 2500 with a bullet converter, Buncha high end parts, super nice trans that you could tow with no issues. I have had the trans in the truck for a little under a year and a half for the last 4 moth is has has small little intermittent issues so sparse that they would be hard to diagnose. currently with right around 30k miles on the trans in a 2500 heavy duty truck that has spent the last year and a half being a work truck hauling fridges microwaves small amounts of timber and an occasional motorcycle in the bed. the trans is bad. there's a issues in the main body somewhere, as well as the super expensive billet tq converter they put in it also took a shit. the truck is a bone stock and might make 250tq. it can't spin the tires if you hold a gun to its head, it's never done a burn out and pulled one aluminum uhaul car trailer with my Lexus on it for a whopping 50 miles. do yourself a favor and save yourself thousands go to a different shop. they don't stand behind their work, and refuse to be accountable for their poor quality work if you want your transmission to shit itself and leave you stranded after a year of driving it take it to this shop they will get you dialed with a transmission that will make your car or truck a unreliable time bomb

It was a great place and they were HONEST. The Ford dealership tried to sell us a transmission when it was a stick in the pan and nothing more. I would definitely recommend to anyone that wants an honest good mechanic.
