Poor Man's Tire Introduce

Poor Man's Tire, situated at 115 Fassett St, Toledo, OH 43605, USA, operates as an "Auto Repair Station" primarily focusing on tire sales and related services. Easily reachable at (419) 691-4832 or +1 419-691-4832, this establishment serves the local community in Toledo, Ohio, offering a range of automotive assistance with a particular emphasis on tire solutions.

Operating hours for Poor Man's Tire are typically Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, providing a consistent schedule for customers seeking their services. While a specific founding date or detailed history is not readily available through public information, the presence of customer reviews indicates that it has been a part of the Toledo automotive landscape for some time, providing a service to the community, particularly concerning tire needs.

Environment and Facilities

Information regarding the specific environment and facilities at Poor Man's Tire is primarily derived from customer feedback, which presents a mixed perspective. One reviewer describes the staff as "super friendly, fast and helpful" and had a positive experience getting a tire put on. This suggests that the facility is capable of performing tire services efficiently, and that, at least for some customers, the interaction is positive. The presence of a physical location at 115 Fassett St indicates a standard tire shop setup with bays for vehicle service.

However, another review offers a starkly contrasting view, describing "Terrible Garbage people, Garbage business, no customer service skills, rude, unfair ignorance at the highest level." This customer also alleges that the place "sells junk tires, period, do not buy selling junk tires, bad attitude." Such conflicting feedback suggests that customer experience can vary significantly at Poor Man's Tire, potentially indicating inconsistencies in service delivery or product quality. While the physical amenities are not explicitly detailed beyond being a tire shop, the emphasis in reviews is heavily placed on the perceived quality of service and products, rather than the physical comfort or appearance of the waiting area or shop.

Services Offered

As an "Auto Repair Station" primarily focused on tires, Poor Man's Tire's core services revolve around tire sales and maintenance. Based on the available information and typical offerings of such establishments, their services would likely include:

  • Tire Sales: This would encompass both new and potentially used tires, catering to a range of budgets. The mention of "junk tires" by one reviewer suggests that used tires might be a significant part of their inventory, although the quality is disputed.
  • Tire Installation: Mounting and balancing of tires on vehicles, as evidenced by the positive review of a customer getting "one tire put on."
  • Tire Repair: Services for patching or repairing flat tires, which is a standard offering for tire shops.
  • Tire Rotation: Regular rotation of tires to promote even wear and extend tire life.
  • Tire Disposal: Proper disposal of old or damaged tires.

While their name "Poor Man's Tire" strongly suggests a focus on affordability and accessibility for those on a budget, potentially including a wide selection of used tires, it is important for customers to manage expectations regarding the quality and longevity of such products. Beyond tires, a basic "Auto Repair Station" might offer minor automotive repairs or checks, such as brake inspections or fluid checks, but the primary emphasis from the available information is on tire-related services.

Features and Customer Experience

The defining features of Poor Man's Tire, as gathered from customer feedback, appear to be a focus on providing "good deals" on tires, catering to customers looking for economical options. The positive review highlights "hard-working people" who are "super friendly, fast and helpful," indicating that some customers receive efficient service and a pleasant interaction. This suggests that when the service is positive, it is notably so, emphasizing speed and helpfulness.

However, the significant negative feedback points to critical features that detract from the customer experience. Allegations of "no customer service skills," "rude, unfair ignorance," and "bad attitude" are serious concerns that prospective customers should consider. The claim of "selling junk tires" directly questions the quality and value of the products offered. This stark contrast in experiences suggests a high degree of variability in service quality and customer interaction. For customers, this means that while they might find a good deal, they should also be prepared for a potentially challenging experience regarding customer service and product reliability, as indicated by the contrasting viewpoints.

It is important for potential customers to weigh these differing perspectives when considering Poor Man's Tire for their automotive needs. The business appears to fill a niche for budget-conscious individuals seeking tire services, but the consistency of quality and customer care is a notable point of contention among reviewers.

Promotional Information

Specific, current promotional offers from Poor Man's Tire are not widely advertised through common online channels. However, given its name and the nature of the business, it is reasonable to infer that the primary "promotion" is its offering of more affordable tire solutions, potentially including used tires, which inherently serve as a cost-saving option for customers. The positive review mentioning "good deals" further supports this premise.

Customers interested in current pricing, inventory, or any specific deals should directly contact Poor Man's Tire. They can do so by calling (419) 691-4832 or +1 419-691-4832, or by visiting the location at 115 Fassett St, Toledo, OH 43605, USA. This direct communication would be the most reliable way to ascertain what "good deals" are currently available and to inquire about the quality of the tires they sell.

Given the mixed reviews, it is advisable for customers to perhaps inquire about warranties or return policies, especially if considering used tires, to ensure peace of mind regarding their purchase. The business's reputation for affordability might appeal to a specific segment of the market, but potential customers should conduct their own assessment upon visiting or contacting the establishment.

I purchased 2 tires from here, the same day the belt broke in one of the tires. I came back when they were open and they refused to make it right even though they remembered me and my purchase the previous business day. I would never recommend them to anyone.

The male that worked on my tires was amazing. I didn鈥檛 get his name but will return and recommend based on his performance today. They had 4 tires in stock for my Kia Soul and the price was perfect. I came an hour before they closed due to other issues. They took me in even in the rain. Thank yall so much! Will add the photos once the rain stops.
