My Dakota developed an awful banging noise while braking. My go-to shop for over 38 years closed a few months ago, and I wasn't sure who to call. After reading a positive review a few days ago about Pit Stop, I gave JJ a try. What a find. He took in my truck on the same day. The problem was intermittent, so he spent some time going over all 4 wheels and found multiple issues, and it all finished by 9AM the next day. (It would have been fixed sooner, but a part he needed was late arriving).

I was looking for a new mechanic since mine retired a year ago. In a world where it seems customer service has gone to hell in a handbasket, Pitstop Garage is a welcomed change! Jamie was great when I first called and JJ came out to say hi and introduce himself when I dropped my car off. He checked out everything I asked, called with a fair price, even recommended something I hadn't thought about. Refreshing to get some great service for a change....think I found my new mechanic!

I'm usually not one to write reviews, but I had to for this shop. i just moved to the area and needed to find a mechanic. From beginning to end, both J.J and Jamie were nothing but sweethearts! They were very accomodating (which I truly am grateful for - thank you both again) . And since then, my car has been running smoothly. Definitely recommending this shop to anyone looking.

Recently had a shortblock installed on a 2018 Subaru wrx. The time, professionalism, and the enhanced contact I had back and forth between the mechanic was amazing. Haven’t had any issues and roughly have racked up 10k miles in 3 months with no issues. Highly recommend!! Come in and ask for JJ or Jamie they will help solve all your mechanical needs!!!

I waited 2 weeks to right a review. They haven’t contacted me since i picked up my unfinished damaged van.I hired them to finish a vinyl wrap and they destroyed my van on both attempts. He ordered the wrong pieces and installed them anyway.There are bubbles, tears and gouges all over. Also when i picked up my van there were oily gloves, rags and they somehow spilled oil inside the van. I dont even know where to begin. He also lost parts for the magnetic door catch and hasnt even replaced them or talked to me about it.There is an exterior hole where this part goes!He didnt finish and hasn’t even reached out to make things right after his second attempt. Its still not done.They dont do vinyl.They advertise it on the building which is why i went there.Not a professional shop. Stay away.
