Pep Boys

I visited this Pep Boys in the past, Jaime is very professional and I will say an honest costumer service man. Today I had a bad experience, one of my car tire has a screw in, I brought it to this location for inspection. They make wait for almost an hour, check the tire to come with the diagnosis that I need a new tire! The mechanic not even took the screw out, he said because the location of the screw the tire can not be fixed. Louis try to sell the tire for $125 dollars because they will give credit because the fourth tires were purchase in this store. If I decided to purchase the tire I had to wait for 3 hours more because they're not having same tire brand in the store. This is very disappointing because they not even try to check is the screw went through the tire. I went to another place for second opinion; yes the screw went through but they were able to fix it because the location of the hole makes possible to fix. Why this people are not honest, they put the business first than costumer trust. Sad that they use to do this to women. Please do the right thing!!

I was thinking that this location was the one in Van Nuys but it's actually located in Panorama City. I realized this when I had the interaction with a gentleman by the name of Jaime. I asked if they can inspect my vehicle cuz I was hearing some noises in the front and was getting a jerking motion when I drove. He said if you're getting a drinking lotion when you're driving then we're going to need to charge you $100 for the inspection. I said since when is pep boys charging the inspection before the inspection was done no charge. He said well it's going to take a time for the mechanic so it's going to be a hundred bucks. I just looked online and there's a coupon for pep boys 120 point inspection and a free CarMax report that's currently on sale for $79.99 instead of the $129.99 I think I will take my business to another Pep Boys.

This review is WAY overdue. I bought tires from this location. From the phone call to inquire about costs and setting up an appointment through picking up my car when it was ready I dealt with Luis. He was extremely helpful when I called and didn’t make me feel rushed. I was pleasantly surprised by that and his knowledge and patience over the phone was the reason I decided to go to this location. He continued with his kindness in person. I feel like that type of customer service is RARE nowadays. I was actually surprised with the consistent positive experience from the initial phone call, dropping off my car and picking it up. Excellent service Luis!!

Jaime and the team were great! Got my headlight changed in out 21’ Jeep Grand Cherokee in about half an hour. Would absolutely recommend them.

I had a wonderful experience at Pep Boys Panorama City. I had a tire emergency and Jamie went above and beyond to make sure that my issue was resolved quickly!!! Thank you so much Jamie!!!
